Can someone tell me how to calculate the ppm of MMS in water? Do you need to have a chlorine dioxide tester?

I'm trying to get this information together in one place for reference. The amount of ignorance and outright deception by people prejudiced against the use and safety of MMS1 / 28%sodium chlorite solution is large and chronic. So, in the hopes of being able to compare apples to apples:

Drop sizes: According to Hesselink, drop sizes vary from 15 per ml to 30 per ml

Therefore, weight of drops of water will vary between 66.666 mg and 33.333 mg per drop.

Weight of drops of MMS (28% NaClO2 [crystaline 80% NaClO2]) will be approx. 81.333 mg to 40.666 mg per drop (weight of water x 1.22)

Actual NaClO2 per drop (wt. of drop x 22.4%) approx. 18.22 mg to 9.11 mg

Mass of ClO2 = 66.958681951 g mol-1 - molar mass = 67.45 g mol-1
(Molar) mass of NaClO2 = 90.44 g/mol
Atomic weight of Na = 22.98976928
Atomic weight of O = 15.9994
Atomic weight of Cl = 35.453
2 oxygen + 1 Cl = 67.4518
67.4518 + 22.98976928 = 90.44156928
67.4518 / 90.44156928 = 0.745805281100049 (74.58% of actual NaClO2 by wt.)

Bottom Line: Max. potential ClO2 per drop (wt. NaClO2 x .7458) approx. 13.588 mg to 6.794 mg

So, for example, 1 max. size drop of MMS in 120 ml of water would be approx. 13.5 divided by 120,000 or 0.0001125 or 112.5 ppm in the glass. Taken by an "average human" with 5 liters of blood, that would by 13.5 mg divided by 5,000,000 or 0.0000027 or 2.7 ppm ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM under hypothetical, impossible perfect conditions.

You can multiply the 2.7 ppm by whatever dose you want: 6 drops would come out to 16.2 ppm of Chlorine Dioxide in an "average person" - and this will always be an IMPOSSIBLE ideal maximum, as the ClO2 won't all be activated, will off-gas, will be imperfectly absorbed, and will start to react with weak molecules as soon as it enters the digestive tract. And, this would be only be accurate for the largest drop sizes possible, according to Hesselink.
