Yesterday I read about the Shot Glass Method to make CDS.
Today I can't find the protocol.

Would someone please direct me how to do this.
Also how to you measure the strength of the solution?

Hi all,

I used MMS and CDS for 2 years now,
I prepared my CDS 2000 PPM per ml with jim's method

I try this glass method, and i dont found same results:

My experience: (High range test trip from lamotte)
I try 2ml MMS and 2 ml AC 50% for 180 ml water in 300 ml glass jar, my result about 250 PPM.
I try 2,5ml MMS and 2,5 ml AC 50% for 120 ml water in 200 ml glass jar, my result about 500 PPM.
I try 6ml MMS and 6 ml AC 50% for 144 ml water in 500 ml glass jar, my result about 1000 PPM.


My THEORY:

If 3 drops of MMS + 3 drops AC 50% give 1 dose of MMS, 120ml at 25 PPM.

3 drops MMS x 8 = 24 drops = 1ml MMS

For 1ml MMS, we have 960ml at 25 PPM
For 1ml MMS, we have 120ml at 200 PPM
For 5ml MMS, we have 120ml at 1000 PPM
For 10ml MMS, we have 120ml at 2000 PPM
For 15ml MMS, we have 120ml at 3000 PPM

For 2,5ml MMS, we have 240ml at 250 PPM
For 5ml MMS, we have 240ml at 500 PPM
For 10ml MMS, we have 240ml at 1000 PPM
For 20ml MMS, we have 240ml at 2000 PPM
For 30ml MMS, we have 240ml at 3000 PPM
For 60ml MMS, we have 480ml at 3000 PPM
For 2,5ml MMS, we have 480 ml at 125 PPM

For 25ml MMS, we have 200ml at 3000 PPM
For 25ml MMS, we have 600ml at 1000 PPM
For 30ml MMS, we have 720ml at 1000 PPM
For 40ml MMS, we have 960ml at 1000 PPM
For 2,5ml MMS, we have 960ml at 62,5 PPM



HOW CAN U explain you have:

240 ml CDS AT 750 PPM with only 2,5 ml MMS ? (theorical result 250 PPM)
500 ml CDS AT more than 3000 with only 20ml MMS ? (theorical result 1000 PPM)
960 ml CDS at 260 PPM with only 2,5 ml MMS ? (theorical result 62,5 PPM)

Result from 17 april 2017 from 2,5 ml MMS for 1 liter seems to be OK with 62 PPM

Any Idea or any explanation ?
for my wrong or right results ?
about my theory ?

New tests with new lamotte strips

I restest my CDS prepared with Jim's method about 8 MONTH ago.
I used 20ml of MMS to produce (X 20) 400 ml CDS at 3000 PPM. and it's still at about 3000 PPM about 8 month later, stored in the fridge at about 5 °C.
In general rules, I found my CDS Results is about multiplying by (X 20) ml of MMS to have ml of CDS at 3000 PPM.


My glass CDS experience: (High range 500PPM test strip from lamotte / and 10PPM lamote test strip)
I try 2ml MMS and 2 ml AC 50% for 180 ml water in 300 ml glass jar, my new result is about 500 PPM.
I try 2,5ml MMS and 2,5 ml AC 50% for 120 ml water in 200 ml glass jar, my new result is about 900 PPM.

I didnt test yet my 6ml MMS and 6 ml AC 50% for 144 ml water in 500 ml glass jar, could be qbout 2000 PPM.
surface exchange area is 80 cm2 (12 square inch)


My results is about multiplying by (X 15) ml of MMS to have equivalent ml of CDS at 3000 PPM.

When for you, your results find about multiplying by (X 30) ml of MMS to have equivalent ml of CDS at 3000 PPM.
( or by x 90 to have equivalent ml of CDS at 1000 PPM.)


Something is still wrong ?

I still don't understand how we could produce more CDS PPM than there are PPM in an MMS normal activation, but it's a fact.
SO questions...

Daily dose is 24 drops MMS in 1L for 8 doses of 3 drops.

If i use 24 drops (about 1 ml) of MMS to produce 1L CDS with glass method, you will have (X 30) one liter at about 90PPM, NOT at 25 PPM ?????

Are we sure that PPM of CDS is equal to PPM of MMS ?????

We could think that the 25 PPM of MMS is just the CLO2 extract from MMS at initial reaction due to activation, BUT after drinking activated MMS, in the body the reaction from MMS and acids in body CONTINUE, that why MMS exist in body up to 12 hours...

in this case 3 drops of MMS is probably not equal to 1ML of CDS 3000 PPM.
and MAY BE 1ml CDS 3000PPM is weaker than 3 drops of MMS, may be about 2 to 3 times weaker than MMS.

This could explain Why:
WE could produce MORE CDS PPM than MMS PPM.
Some people found CDS weaker than MMS.
Not same result for treatment of decease for MMS and CDS.
MMS stay longer in body than CDS.


Any answers ??

I confirm that my 6ml MMS and 6 ml AC 50% for 144 ml water in 500 ml glass jar, is about 2000 PPM.

my X 15 multiplier is confirmed...

6ml x 15 = 90 ml CDS with 3000 PPM = 145 ml CDS with 1900 PPM

For me, Glass method is X 15 multiplier for now.

Bormes, I did a lot of testing with CDS in the early days and can guarantee you that 1mL of the 3000ppm did test to the equivalent of 3 drops of MMS. There were 5 or 6 of us doing a lot of testing at that time.

I don't know for sure how or why you are getting your figures, but I will tell you the same thing I tell everyone who is making CDS - there are many variables involved, including size and shape of the jars involved - use testing strips to determine your CDS strength, particularly if you are using the heat method, or if you want to be "sure".

I know that Charlotte has done a lot of testing to determine the charts she has posted at mmsinfo.org - she has also shown us the actual containers she has used, right down to information about different caps and how one cap can cause a particular result and a different one can cause another.

Hello Bormes.

First I want to thank you for all your testing as I was hoping someone would perform similar testing to confirm or not, the shot-glass method testing I have done and continue to perform. I have learned a lot along the way and perhaps I can relate some of that information to you.

I began testing, along with Michael Harrah, about 1 year ago. We both were getting inconsistent results and needed to find out why. Both of us used LaMotte high range ClO2 test strips and eXact Chlorine Photometers. There are pitfalls when using either one of those test devices.

1. Always use distilled water. If you don't, you will not get accurate results.

2. When reading the test strips, dilute the test solution so the colors fall mid-range, because your eye can see differences more easily than when trying to read at the high end of the color scale.

3. We found using the dilution calculator at endmemo.com/bio/dilution.php to be most useful.

4. I think the photometer is a better measurement tool if used properly.

5. The photometer I use requires the use of two reagent strips and both must be used to get accurate results.

6. The photometer reading must be above 40% or inaccurate readings will result. It took a while before we noticed that fine print and following that instruction made a big difference in obtaining accurate readings.

7. I have wondered if LaMotte ClO2 test strips would need the glycine reagent strips the photometer requires. Their purpose (as I recall) is to remove any free chlorine present so the DPD-1 reagent strips will give an accurate reading. A conversion chart is needed to read ClO2 with the photometer I use. The LaMotte test strips use a different technology, so they may not need the glycine reagent strips.

8. To compare your testing results, I suggest you calculate the amount of ClO2 in each CDS batch you measure. That way, you can then compare the efficiency of your methods by calculating the amount of ClO2 generated for every 1 ml of MMS used.

For instance, the first three tests listed in your first post would calculate:

Test one:
2 ml MMS into 180 ml distilled water: Concentration (ppm) x Volume (liters) = Dose (ClO2 mg) 250 ppm x 0.180 liters = 45 mg ClO2.

Conversion efficiency = dose / MMS = 45 / 2 = 22.5 mg/ml (22.5 mg ClO2 generated for each ml of MMS used)

That conversion efficiency is quite low for a shot-glass method perhaps because the receiver container and/or the reactor is too small. I have measured 104 mg/ml conversion efficiency using 2.5 ml MMS, but the receiver container was 2 liters volume and the reactor mouth was 90 mm in diameter. Bigger can be better for best efficiency. See photo.

If you were using the two bottles, transfer tube, and heating method; an open-to-the-atmosphere system, I would expect to see 25 mg/ml efficiency. The Shot Glass method is a closed system with a 12 hour activation time period and there is less ClO2 loss because the receiver is not open to the atmosphere where ClO2 gas can easily escape. Perhaps your jar lid was leaking.

Test two:
2.5 ml MMS into 120 ml distilled water: Concentration (ppm) x Volume (liters) = Dose (ClO2 mg) 500 ppm x 0.120 liters = 60 mg ClO2.

Conversion efficiency = dose / mms = 60 / 2.5 = 24 mg/ml (24 mg ClO2 generated for each ml of MMS used)

Test three:
6 ml MMS into 144 ml distilled water: Concentration (ppm) x Volume (liters) = Dose (ClO2 mg) 1000 ppm x 0.144 liters = 144 mg ClO2.

Conversion efficiency = dose / mms = 144 / 6 = 24 mg/ml (24 mg ClO2 generated for each ml of MMS used)

So, all three of your tests resulted in an average conversion efficiency of 23.5 mg/ml.

You mention that a 3 drop dose of activated MMS in 120 ml of water measures 25 ppm (3 mg ClO2). I thought that was true until I made some measurements. See: www.mmsinfo.org/infosheets/mms1_ppm_vs_activation_time-3.pdf

The chart shows that for 20 seconds activation time using 3 drops of MMS and 3 drops of 50% citric acid, you generate about 8.5 ppm ClO2 in 120 ml of distilled water. If you activate 60 seconds or longer, you get about 17 ppm. Only 4% HCl comes close to 25 ppm. Interesting!

The unactivated MMS will continue to activate & release ClO2 in your stomach whereas CDS won't do that.

As Pam says, there are a lot of variables that effect the amount of ClO2 generated. Container volume and shape and surface area are probably the most important.

MMS and CDS are not the same chemical. MMS contains other ingredients that CDS does not. I am not sure you can fairly compare the two. But, we do know that CDS can work wonders. How about the lady who killed a cancerous breast tumor in two months time taking high doses of CDS? As more testimonials come in, we will know better how to dose with MMS and CDS.

It would be interesting to know your equipment setups and any other details or photos you may want to share.

First, sorry for my english, (i live in europe).

My 3 tests was made with 3 different jam glass, with metal caps, and my results are similar = X 15. (may be i have some leaks with caps.)
X15 is my average chart ;)
I will buy and try with a glass with plastic cap.


I note that glass method higher efficiency is up to X 30

X 20 seems to be a good range rate , simple to obtain. (20 ml of CDS 3000PPM for each ml of MMS)



MY CDS THINKING for production and use:

I think that we don't need to produce CDS 3000 PPM, (for personal production)
I think that best efficiency and simple CDS production is for 1000 PPM,
because concentration is less and efficiency MMS to CDS is better, (more concentrate, more pressure, more difficult, and more different results)
and calculation is easy: 1ml of CDS 1000ppm = 1 drop of MMS
when you want to increase drops by drops, it's more simple to calculate, less mistake for friends and family members.
and you can keep a CDS 1000PPm for a very long time, less evaporation.
Transportation is easer too.

Question: (for JB13)

How much mg of CLO2 is expected inside 1ml of MMS ? Is 100 mg of CLO2 by each ml of MMS the answer ?


Hereby 4 Pictures of My 3rth production, 6ml of MMS for 144 ml distilled water, results a bit more than 2000 PPM
exchange surface 80 cm2, 12 square inch (11 cm diameter minus 4 cm diameter)
2 pictures of my 2nd production, with a plastic white cap filled with 2,5 ml MMS for 120 ml DW in a jam glass.


My experience in progress is a GLASS CDS production with 4 ml MMS and 180 ml distilled water, in the same glass as photo's
I put glass in a sealed bag, so i will see if there is some leak.
and my expected result will be about 1000PPM (for X15) minimum (and 1300PPM (for X20) maximum)
SO equivalent to 180 drops of MMS, 60 standard doses of MMS.
