If you were to make a pint of CDS that was 500 to 3000 part per million, it would obviously last a long time for a individual or family.

In this form will it stay good longer. I know is is 5 days for the MMS in the refridgerator, but in the different videos where they make the CDS they talk aboutmaking larger or more PPM solutions and that is where I got he idea that it maybe would last a long time int he refridgerator.\

Any ideas?

I have been making mms 1 and activator for 4 years now and can safely say that unfridgerated but stored in a dark pet plastic bottle it stays good for months on end. CDS even stays good longer but requires to be refridgerated under 11 degrees Celcius as above that temperature the gas will evaporate out of the solution, which may present you with a tricky situation (building pressure inside the closed bottle or evaporating chloride gas fumes from the open bottle).

AmandaMary Visitor	I reccomend that you stabilize CDS with 2ml of MMS to every 100ml this will keep up-to 1 year out of sunlight (use brown bottles) I do not recommend freezing it.

AmandaMary Visitor	sure i will write it up and post it tomorrow, it really is best not to freeze Pam. We always stabilize before posting or shipping, sorry I thought this was common knowledge and all distributers did this!

AmandaMary Visitor	Hi Pam, MMS1 acts as a buffer when added to the CDS it therefore stabalizes it, therefore it does not gas out, it stops the gasing this way.

When you say MMS1 did yoy refer to UNACTIVATED MMS1 to be added into CDS? like:

To stabilize CDS use 2mL MMS1 (no citric acid) per 100mL CDS?

That's interesting, Amanda Mary - had not heard that before - all we've been told was to keep it at 51 degrees farenheit or lower (hence the freezing) - the addition of MMS1 (unactivated mms) was told us as to raise the PH, so it could be used in the chlorine dioxide injection (CDI) (which we have not actually been given details on, although it is apparently going to be in Andreas' new book) - in that case it was described as buffering, also. Can you explain what happens to prevent the outgassing? Something new to learn! Something new for Charlotte to play with!
