hi all - first time poster!

one of the things i personally find troublesome is how various resources for MMS are spread out all over the place, some of which contain conflicting and out-dated information

there's jimhumble.biz, mmsanswers.org, mmsnews.is, etc., etc...

i don't know what the reason for this is, but i think it's a real problem for a few reasons:

1) i don't think it's very professional. having all these websites, without even a common theme, makes MMS seem kind of snake-oil-ish in my opinion. you typically won't see this type of marketing done with reputable products
2) the age and validity of the information on the different sites differs and is often conflicting - this is absolutely a problem to anyone searching for accurate, recent information
3) it simply makes the task of gathering resources/information much more difficult for potential users since it's spread out everywhere
4) from a webmaster point of view, i don't see how having all these websites is at all desirable
5) from an SEO point of view, i would tend to think that having multiple sites is not necessarily a good thing and i doubt would boost rankings

in my opinion the information from these various websites should be merged into a single site where all of the MMS resources are easily available to the person looking for them

all of the domains should then redirect to a central, up to date, primary resource

if data redundancy/availability is an issue, i don't think it should be - the website can be mirrored and distributed by CDN's across the globe, completely transparent to the viewer

regarding the newsletter, i think it should be the decision of the recipient as to whether they wish to receive HTML emails. the HTML markup in the newsletter is invalid and a mess. those of us that disable HTML email for security/privacy reasons may not be able to read the newsletter at all (i can't) and must visit the website instead. hopefully giving users a choice between HTML and plain text will be considered. i don't know about this day and age, but it used to be considered bad form to send HTML email at all unless the recip requested it

i'm personally well aware of the benefits of MMS and have used it several times and always keep it on hand. i do not question its effectiveness, nor do i question Jim's ethics or the ethics of the community in general, however, if i had learned about the product from stumbling upon one or two particular MMS websites, it is likely i would have written it off as a hoax and never looked back (i learned of MMS through Project Camelot interview)

Hi All,

I'm now in connection with one of the webmasters for Genesis II in the DR, who has direct access with Jim. If you want to post or to send me your thoughts or comments, I'll forward them along...

BTW, he is a member of this forum,
Bruce

Certificate of Authorization is the one with your chapter number on it and gives you the authority to open a chapter.

You are supposed to announce the church in your local national newspaper and have a link on this announcement, the link is on the certificate to show and share the churches info to the public and authorities and inform all who might want to know that the Articles of Association, Articles of Faith and Creed are recorded at www.genesis2church.com - but this website of the church has been down for months how does one go forward.

I would imagine many people are giving up and doing their own thing.

There should be absolutely no reason why websites should be down even for a second.

It is not really giving people the right impression about Genesis 2 Church of Health and Healing........

Brian,

In this thread, you stated that you have contact information for the webmaster of some of these sites.

I would like to suggest a typo correction for the following page:
www.mmsnews.is/all-newsletters/77-slim-and-healthy-8-23-2011.html

There is a duplicate of text, where there should be two different texts.
I have this newsletter in my inbox and have compared the two.

Here is the two duplicates from the above link which need correction:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Weight Control

1. Use protein to lose weight. Also always eat enough fat to satisfy your hunger.

2. Protein increases your metabolism 30%.

3. Remember that fat does not cause weight gain, but can prevent you from losing weight because your body will use the fat you eat for energy instead of stored fat. So for weight loss, eat less fat but don’t completely avoid it. And of course eat fewer carbos. You don’t need carbos, but it is wise to eat a certain amount of them.

4. The Nazis proved during WWII that a fat free diet will kill you, and thus they killed many prisoners with that exact diet, which enabled them to work the prisoners right up to their time of death.

5. Fat will not cause weight gain, but can keep you from losing weight. But you must have some fat or you die.

6. Exercise does not make you lose weight. It increases your appetite and can actually make you fatter.

7. A low-fat, high-carbo diet causes weight gain.

Preventing Disease

2.Use protein to lose weight. Also always eat enough fat to satisfy your hunger.

And here is the correct "Preventing Disease" section, which should replace the "Preventing Disease" section on the above link:

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Preventing Disease

1. Salt does not cause high blood pressure. Years ago Berkeley University in San Francisco proved this fact and it’s been proven a dozen times since then.

2. Fiber does not prevent cancer and is of no benefit to the human diet. Thousands of tests have proven this.

3. Fruits and vegetables do not prevent cancer.

4. Exercise does not fight cancer.

5. There is truly no evidence that red meat promotes cancer or any other disease.

6. It has been proven that all persons over 100 who are healthy have eaten red meat for at least 40 years.

7. Carbos cause diabetes – not just sugar, but all carbos. It does not matter a twit if it is complex or simple carbos. Sorry, but if you eat only complex carbos it might be 25 minutes longer before you get diabetes.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Can we please get this corrected?

Thank you,
Joe
