Hello,

Does anyone have experience with using DMSO for pain, sprain and aches, etc? If so what would the protocol be? Does it matter if DMSO is liquid or gel? Should DMSO be diluted with water? If so what ratio?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Peace & love,

franc

This is actually a very common use for DMSO. I have Dr. Morton Walker's book here, DMSO, Nature's Healer, and he's got all the research that was done over 20-30 years. Use either liquid or gel form, and the percentage of DMSO to distilled water is dependent on where it is on the body. As an example, Dr. Walker says 70% is good, but if it's above the waist to go to 50%, to prevent "burning" - For sure it it's face or neck, use 50%. When applied, don't rub it too hard, leave it on for 20 minutes and then wipe off. Skin must be clean, unbroken and dry - remember, DMSO is a carrier and will carry anything under it into the tissues below.

That said, I will spray MMS on, and then add DMSO on top, particularly when I'm dealing with an inflammatory issues.

I also see where for gout, as an example, you would leave the DMSO on much longer.

Apply 3-5 x a day. This comes from page 43-44 of the book.
