Seems that diet is the key, a raw food diet of fruit, vegetable and salads, nuts etc.

Try your central market there must be some local medicine shops with traditional herbs and spices I am quite sure they would have Kolanji oiil, seed or powder, they call it often HABBAT SOWDA here in East Africa.
