Hi I did MMS a couple of years ago and recall at the time there was much pressure being put on Jim to cease sharing MMS info.
I've now just started again this week and joined this super helpful and organised forum! (thanks for that)
I'm really curious though as to why the sharing of MMS info has been organised into a church structure.
I thought I recall vaguely some reference to this being a possibility as a way of "legitimately" sharing the information without being attacked or shut down by the FDA or like organisations. Is this correct? Is this the reason for the church? Or perhaps you are "not allowed to say"? ;)
Also, I have friends seeking to know more about MMS and I don't know which is the best link to send them. Im concerned if I send this forum link they will know nothing about MMS, see the religion structure then shy away from it (gosh i was deterred by it too and only perservered because i was so keen to do MMS again so read past my initial knee jerk reaction to surf the web elsewhere). First impressions can be harmful. I want my friends to gain the benefits of MMS not be spooked off. So which link is best to send to a first timer wanting to know what MMS is in a nutshell in the most palatable format to someone who's never read about it before?

Thanks! :)B)

Jim set up the church structure in an attempt to protect the people who use or advise others to use MMS. If you read the church tenets carefully, you will see that there's no specific "religion" attached to it.

As to where to send newbies - Gosh, that's hard to say. I'm of the belief that if they see the change in you, they'll want to know why, and at that point, you can point them towards this forum, or Jim's book.

Hi Didi,

As a fellow Aussie I am well aware of our inherent aversion to cults and weirdo religious sects so I always approach this subject with caution.

As you say, most of us shy away at the first mention of a church being behind MMS. Once people understand the church itself and the reasons for it there are no issues, so the approach I take is as Pam says - get them to understand MMS and its benefits first, then you can explain why big pharma opposes it and tries to discredit it and subsequently why a structure was put in place to allow us to take control of our own health legally.

For example, when the Australian Federal Constitution was drafted it included a Preamble and section 116, the only section referring to religion. It reads: The Commonwealth shall not make any law for establishing any religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for prohibiting the free exercise of any religion, and no religious test shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust under the Commonwealth.

Similar constitutions around the world are designed to prevent so-called 'authorities' from interfering with our beliefs which are simply:
  • Doing good deeds
  • Doing what is right
  • Good health for ALL mankind
  • Freedom for ALL mankind
  • Enlightening others with truth

When the subject of the church comes up in conversation I tend to inform people from the start that it is not a religious church, it is a church oh health and healing. Hope this helps
