I have been wondering how important is the dilution volume?  We are not supposed to take MMS1 undiluted internally but is there a optimal dilution where below is not enough and above is too much?  Page 81 of the 2019 guidebook there is a note that says for the starting procedure Day 1 you can add 1-2 more ounces of water AT THE MOST (my emphasis) if you want to dilute the taste before drinking.  It only says this for Day 1, it is not repeated for the other days, but I assume it is ok to do for the other days.  What does dilution have to do with the dose?  When is there too much or too little and what happens if there is too much or too little?  Too much and maybe the activation in the body is lessened?  Too little and maybe the throat might burn or it the taste is terrible?  I have not found it explained anywhere (yet).

I found an old post by Pam: "Not to worry about the dilution, Healthy, the goal is the number of drops. 3 drops are 3 drops, whether in 4 oz or 6 oz or 8oz - you take your liquid with the MMS1, not after. You can drink additional water, if you wish, immediately."  She had several genesis2forum.org links.  Is that site available anymore, maybe under a different url?

I'm no expert, but I would think that dilution is important.

Jim says to take a dose with 120ml of water. And if you are taking half a drop, then you mix the 120ml and take 60ml of that.

Say you took a drop of MMS1 with 240ml (instead of 120ml) then as you mentioned it would dilute the mixture to where the ppm would be lower.
There's a reason you take 10ml of CDS with 1 litre of water and not more or less, as it determines the ppm.

I suppose when you are doing the early stages of the starting procedure you just want the body to get used the MMS1 so diluting it more or less would not be that big a deal.

But that is just my take, others can chime in.

I wasn't talking about CDS,  I am still trying to grasp MMS1.  For MMS1, the ppm would be lower if you added 240ml instead of 120ml, but if you drink the whole 240 ml, the dose would be the same as drinking the 120 ml - one drop of MMS1.  I can see how the volume matters for CDS, it is a solution of a certain ppm and you need to take a right amount to get the desired dose.

I disagree, if you have 120ml + 1 drop MMS1 and add another 120ml it will dilute the ppm just like CDS.

Let's extrapolate, if you have 120ml + 1 drop MMS1 and add an extra 5 litres of water, and then drink the whole five litres, will it still have the same effect as 120ml?

I agree, drinking 5 liters wouldn't have the same effect as drinking 120 ml.  My question was how does one determine the ideal volume?  For protocol 1000 it is 3 drops + 120 ml = 25 ppm.  I suppose that is the answer - 25 ppm is the ideal (for adults) and whatever volume it takes to make that ppm.  It is actually a range - as long as it is between 25-50 ppm and no lower than 20 ppm according to p 280 of the 2019 guidebook that discusses test strips.

I was going to say the same thing about CDS and its ease. BUT I feel, and I have no proof just my feeling, that MMS works better. My experience is that 4 activated drop of MMS works better than 4 drops of CDS.
