Sometimes I get some "acidic stomach", too, but more along the lines of "I need some Tums".
But I try to not take them when I'm dosing.
Seemingly more so from Acid-Activated Mixed SCS & HCl than CDS. (I use 24,000 ppm)
You could try drinking some extra water after the dose.
Sometimes I will eat a cracker, although, with Mixed MMS(1), you aren't supposed to eat,
so the acid in your stomach converts more SCS into ClO2.
I don't think it matters with CDS because it is fully ("pre-") activated.
I don't remember anything being mentioned in Jim Humble's "MMS Health Recovery Guidebook"
to address this problem.
I used to have an hietal hernia and got acid reflux and had to take Nexium like products
off and on for years. I think it went away for the most part when I reduced the stress in my life,
exercised more, and ate better.
Although I wouldn't think acid reflux would fall under the category of an Herheimer Reaction,
doing the Herx Protocol (cutting back 50%) might be a way to go. Maybe it will take longer
for your stomach / system to get used to the "MMS".
If the reflux happens 1/2 hour or so after your last dose, eating a cracker then
would probably be okay.
If it's happening in general and not just after your dose, then taking the Nexium might
be a way to go (like at night before bed, or anytime an hour or two before or after your
dosing period), and maybe it will lessen or go away eventually.
Eating lighter meals would probably help. And "eating better", which I always suggest
is a Vegan diet. See my website, link below, on the McVegan Dietary Lifestyle page.
You don't have to do it forever if you don't want to. Just treat it like a temporary
"taking medicine" situation and you can always revert later when you are better.
I'm not sure what to suggest other than that.
