Since Sodium chlorite is tech grade, what are the percent weights that you do not want to exceed in respect to the constituents compounds that make up the Sodium Chlorite besides the Sodium Chlorite itself. I noticed that two different venders have significantly different percentages by weight of Sodium Sulfate. One vender sited .48% and the other .03% Sodium Sulfate. The Vender with the higher percent sodium sulfate had a lower percent Sodium Chlorate (.6% Sodium Chlorate), While the vender with .03% Sodium Sulfate had .74% Sodium Chlorate. Which Sodium Chlorite product would be better? The other compondents of Sodium Chlorite were very close.
Vender One: .74% Sodium Chlorate, .03% Sodium Sulfate and Vender Two: .6% Sodium Chlorate, .48% Sodum Sulfate.

It's unfortunate that no one replied to your post.

Maybe no one knows the answer(s).

I've never made my own SCS, so I'm not sure.
I suppose it might be difficult to get 100% pure Sodium Chlorite.

I would think that if it was marked as "Food Grade" or "Safe for Human Consumption",
possibly for use as a water purifier, then maybe it's okay and "pure enough". (?)

Or maybe use one that someone else uses and thinks is okay from whatever
source they are getting theirs from.

Maybe try a forum Search. (tab at upper right)
