I had some time, so I am going back through the forum to see
if there are posts that no one commented on, and making comments
if I think I can offer something of value. I don't like to see people
"ignored" (not purposeful, I'm sure) when they are asking for help and such.
'Sorry' no one replied to your post and questions and concerns.
First, the diarrhea was most likely a simple Herxheimer Reaction from
trying to detox too much too quickly. It is a fairly common occurrence,
and can occur with any and all forms of detoxification. (from slight,
like upset stomach, to worse, like your husband experienced, even vomiting
if you go 'extreme' without working up to it)
The "low and slow" methodology suggested in Jim Humble's
"MMS Health Recovery Guidebook" is designed to try to prevent that
from occurring as much as possible, and has suggestions on how to
deal with it when it does. I hope you are able to explain this to your
husband so he understands, and continues to use the MMS to
help his health.
As mentioned in Jim's book, which has a lot of information in it, so
you can "get lost" or have a problem dealing with it all (I have to
continually re-read and research sections), if you have a
burning sensation in your throat, it could be that you have a mold / fungus
issue that needs to be dealt with using the Bentonite Clay Protocol.
I had this problem and it corrected it so I could continue on.
MMS gets rid of most molds/fungi, but there seems to be some that
it cannot get rid of, and they can interfere with the MMS and prevent it
from working well or working at all.
You didn't say what activator you are using. I have never used Citric Acid,
which I understand has a terrible taste. I have only used HCl (Hydrochloric Acid),
which makes the taste MUCH better. (apparently) I don't know if one is more
likely to burn your throat than the other. CDS is basically the same as using
HCl as far as I can tell (AFAICT).
If your problem is not a mold/fungus infestation, and the Bentonite Clay Protocol
doesn't fix the problem, you can try adding some SELTZER water to your drink
to make it less acidic. This should correct that problem, if you have it.
It is possible that you have a sensitive throat issue that doesn't deal well
with acidic solutions. (you can also get some pH Test Strips to see how
acidic OR alkaline the solution is -- both can 'burn')
But I would bet it's a mold/fungus issue. (and make sure you are using
STEAM Distilled water for your MMS drink, so that there are no chemical
reactions taking place that could cause some issues -- like the Chlorine or
Fluoride in tap water, etc.)
It's been a while since you posted.
How are you doing now?
