No one has died from ingesting chlorine dioxide. Lies from the media / Big Pharma.

I do a lot of CLO2 testing and have found that after about 18 months, sodium chlorite solution begins to lose potency. HCL lasts about 3 years.

For long term storage, buy 80% sodium chlorite flakes and citric acid crystals. SC is supposed to last 20 years and I have used 9 year old CA to make CDS at the same CLO2 ppm as using fresh CA. Store both in glass bottles with plastic lids such as Mason jars and the new Ball Leak-Proof black plastic lids. Keep cool and dark.

Hi, can I store the Citric Acid in a plastic container for long term, or is glass better?

Here is the product I will be buying and it comes in a plastic container  Essentially Natural Citric Acid (Monohydrate)
Will 1kg be enough?

Got a follow-up question.

Out of Anhydrous Citric Acid and Monohydrate Citric Acid which has a better shelf life for long term storage?

It seems the only difference is that Monohydrate has crystalised water in it?

I bought Monohydrate last time.
