Hey! I read on mmsdrops.com site that even though the new protocol is more affective, the original method of once a day will still work. It would just be easier for me since I'm busy in meetings all day and can't run to my office every hour. I'm having a difficult time finding information about this method though.
From what I gather, it involves taking one dose a day, and titrating it from one drop of mms, up to around 15-20 drops of a day as your body is able to digest it in a normal manner (ie diarrhea).
What I'm not able to find much information on, is about after you mix the mms and hcl with let's say 15 drops,
1. How long do you let the drops activate in the glass before adding water?
2. How long after adding water until you drink it?
Healthier, that information is very old and has not been used in years. Please do not get MMS information from anyone except Jim Humble. The latest info on how to use MMS and the most up-to-date protocols are in Jim's latest book,MMS Health Recovery Guidebook.
The protocol you are describing would be called a maintenance dose, not a protocol to restore your body to a healthy state.
Thank you for your response! I'm not trying to contradict you, just trying to understand. I trust that it is better to use 8 small doses a day, but if you only have time for one, isn't that better than nothing? It is an older method, but it was apparently used for a long time successfully. I am sure with higher doses the potential for more complications arise, but everything comes back to personal responsibility, as with a lot of things we use everyday that if used improperly can do harm. It just sounded like you were writing it off because it's old. Maybe the old beater I drive doesn't get to the store as quickly as something right off the lot, but we gets there! : ) Thanks!
One large daily dose of MMS1 is used for malaria, not for cancer, HIV, etc.
The reason I call that protocol "old" is because Jim found out through the years what works and what doesn't work. Protocol 1000 replaced that "old" once daily high dose of MMS1 because it didn't work very well.
If you want to re-invent the wheel, be my guest.
There are ways to take hourly doses if you are unable to make hourly doses or carry one large quart/liter all-day bottle with you.
I appreciate you sharing this information and helping me, and others hopefully, to better understand the shift in thinking. I will probably buy the new materials to hear what's been changed and why. Hopefully he goes into the reasoning behind that.
I am not trying to reinvent the wheel, but like I said before, I believe you may still be trying to throw the baby out with the bath water. A single dose may be limited to just intestinal issues like malaria, but for someone with candida overgrowth or constipation, it seems a far better solution than some of the other traditional remedies. Even Mercola, I believe, recommended it for constipation.
Here is an example from a person I am presently coaching on healing a dog who has cancer. The dosage had been every two hours instead of hourly.

Success! I did one drop MMS1 per hour w/ DMSO for approximately 7 or 8 hours yesterday.... AND he slept the entire night! First time in 3 months! I suspect the cancer is or will go into remission immediately. Thank you immensely for your help! Wish I had figured this out in the beginning it would have been a slam-dunk success. At this point if his frail body can recover we'll be in the game. Thank you again!! SR
Hi Healthier, I got on the forum this morning wondering about the same subject. After 8 days I am up to 10 drops two times a day. I was also wondering if I was getting the proper healing affects. I am not having any issues, not even diarrhea. I know I have prostrate issues and parasites, but taking doses 7- times a day is a pain, but if I need to I will.
I’m not aware of what your history has been with MSS, so for the benefit of others who may read this, let me first just say that with the old protocol, it took some time and self-discipline to become familiar with my body’s signs about when to stay at that level of drops for a while or back up, rather than pressing forward. I tell my friends to always remind themselves each day when they are deciding how many drops to use, that this is not a race. You don’t gain anything from speed in this process, as proven with the new protocol.
I had to dig up the old printed literature and dvd for help. So, from what I can gather, if you’re using HCL now as an activator, instead of citric acid, First mix your drops, wait 45 seconds, add half-a-cup of water, wait ten minutes for it to mix, then drink. Make sure to avoid the usual conflicting factors. I used to use juice, but after testing a batch throughout the day with test strips, it lasts so much longer with just water. Juice can be used, but honestly the sugar feeds the gut bugs and increases the reaction rate. The best thing I think people have found to counter the more offensive aftertaste effects, is to only breath through your mouth once you’ve drank it. And, at higher doses I might also have a little juice or something, just to swish around my mouth, then spit out.
In your particular case, just as a doctor in Jim’s video mentioned, this will help, but may not be the fix-all for you, when it may be for someone else. More commonly, the right solution is going to involve changes in other things in order to see the changes you are looking for. Just because you aren’t getting the effects you want, it doesn’t mean you aren’t making progress. In my opinion, you may need to check all the boxes to find out how to fix your prostate. Are you working with a Nutritionist who is, or works with a doctor (Vit, Mineral, Heavy metals)? Diet is probably the source. Are you eating too much meat (acidity, Digestive Enzymes), not enough greens (alkaline), Are your bowl movements regular, happen easily, does it smell like a farm (Probiotics)? I know this is gross but google Bristol Stool Scale. Have you tried going Vegetarian for a week just to see how you feel? If you test for leaky gut and you come back positive, then that’s your starting point. What foods are you sensitive to. Grains (Gluten), Seeds (Lectin), Mike (Casein), Histamine foods, Nightshades, Protein types… check into Dr.Damo about eating for your blood type. I found that really insightful. Hope that helps! : )
I know you are trying to move away from the old protocol, but please hear me out before you possibly delete this comment, which I would regretfully understand. I’d like say I’ve been using the old protocol for about 15 years, so my body is used to titrating up to 15-20 drops. This new method is definitely better and safer, especially for new users to MMS, because of the effectiveness of a persistent dosage, it doesn’t create the digestive issues as easily, and it just can’t do any harm. Compliance is key, and probably the reason it had trouble in the early years catching on. I want the whole team here to know how thankful I and many others are who had run out of options at some point, at a beak moment in their lives and somehow was blessed to find this. Mine was an infection in the back of my mouth/throat that was unaffected by the strongest antibiotics. I recently heard someone say that anything new like this faces opposition in the beginning before it catches on, and I wouldn’t want to say anything that would implead the progress that you’ve made. With the permission of the moderator and everyone else, I would like to ask to have the opportunity to have this discussion on here? It’s our body, and if we choose to do this, all be it less affective protocol first, I believe we need to have that conversation and get the right information out there. I think there are instances where given time constraints in one’s life, the old protocol can yield the desired outcome. It is less intrusive than the 8x per day. And at the end of the day, isn’t it all about trying to make it as accessible as possible and maintaining quality of life. Thank you!
