Hello,

I'm ready to try MMS for a long-term sinus infection. The sinusitis started when I had a toothache (which was followed by a root canal), so I've had it for over a year. Anyways, the sinus protocol on genesis2 is clear to me, but does the process need to be repeated? If so, what is the timing and duration of the process?

Also, is there a CDS protocol for sinus issues?

Thanks. Sorry if I've left out important information.

Hi hato,

Follow protocol 1000.
You can use CDS for 8 times a day, as long as you want, with no issues or side effects. And make sure you drink plenty of water.
CDS/MMS has a tendency to dry the skin, so keep yourself hydrated.

Good luck!,

Hello Karl,

I have never heard of MMS drying the skin, is that your experience or have you read it somewhere?

Thank you,

Hi Maria,

Yes, it's personal experience :)
My wife also experienced it, specially when we were doing the MMS detox protocol (now deprecated) of up to 15 drops per day, and then two to three times a day 15 drops for one week.
It has a tendency to dehydrate you, so that's why I suggested to drink plenty of water.
Not sure if the new three drops per hour protocol will do the same thing, but "Better safe than sorry" :D

Cheers,
-Karl

I have used MMS to knock out my chronic sinus problems. Use the MMs1 protocol on the first notice of your sinus problem. I am very allergic to mold and household dust. A neeti pot works great to irrigate the sinuses. I have used a cup also. Several years ago I tried collordol silver. (still do at times) I have found help on this forum for useing MMS and DMSO. You need to try only a couple drops of DMSO in a 1/4 to 1/2 cup mixture of say 5 drops of MMS and 5 drops of 50% citric Acid. Add more DMSO (99%) to your mix if you can take the sting. JH warns that some people can not take DMSO , so try a couple of drops on your skin first and wait to see if you have a reaction.Be sure to look at the JH's web site WWW.JIMHUMBLE.BIZ, click on MMS Protocol #16 and 17 . JustplainTOM put me in rememberance of the www.jimhumble.biz recently The Collordol silver can have MSM and DMSO added to it to make it effective. Again only add DMSO a drop or two at a time to irrigate the sinuses. You can always add more DMSO. I always hold my head back with nostrals pointing up to allow the MMS or Silver Solution to move into the sinuses. Then I place drops in my nose and place my head pointing to the floor to allow the mixture to go in other set of sinuses. Hope this helps you. I use to have to take antibotics 6 times a year for sinus problems. I went for 2 yr one time without any antibotics and If I had the discipline to start early and keep it up I would never need antibiotic. MMS will do the trick. It does take disipline but the reward is better health and freedom from antibotics side effects which way outways the side effects of MMS. I drink almond milk as alot of people are allergic to Cows Milk. Dairy Products.
Blessings on you!! George :)

Hello Karl,
Thank you for the advice, then. Doing the Protocol 1000 sounds easiest, so I'll probably start with that.

As to the protocol on genesis2 or jimhumble.biz, I was especially interested in the inhaling method. There's no indication as to how often or what duration. Does anyone know? I was hoping it would take less time, although if it's similar to Protocol 1000 then it wouldn't be practical with work, etc. I'm pretty sure I can avoid deep inhalation.

Hello George,
Thank you for the detailed advice. There's a lot of information about colloidal silver and DMSO, the latter which I was considering for my root canals (completely different thread). If the P1000 doesn't work, that's what I'll try. I appreciate the advice about getting deep into the sinuses by tipping the head back. Irrigation with a neti pot was also an option I considered, but without MMS it would just be temporary relief. I see the concentration you use, but at what frequency/term? and is it with a neti pot or just the dropper? The issue of dairy products is interesting, too. I'll have to monitor myself more closely to find out if that's a problem. I would like to work in a little more fermented dairy into my diet.

Thanks.

hato, start slowly - say 1 drop an hour, and work up to 3 drops an hour for the 1000 protocol. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Inhalation is usually measured in # of breaths, not how long <G>. 2 shallow breaths is typical. Do you have Jim's book? You might do a search on the word inhalation here on the forums (use the search button at the top, next to "help")

Okay, I have the book now. Should've done that before. I'll do the oral dose as you suggest, moving up to the full 3 drops gradually. Searched inhalation and found useful info, too. The inhalation protocol seems simple enough to implement even at an office, maybe easier than Protocol 1000. Anyways, I'll try to update when I get through the first three weeks.
