It's hard knowing what is reputable supplier of MMS. I just bought what I think is it off Ebay. It is marketed for water purification purposes only of course. One bottle in the kit is said to be 28% sodium chlorite and 50% citric acid. Does that sound correct? Is there some kind of test strips I can buy to make sure what I'm getting? Is it suppose to be sodium chlorite or chlorine dioxide? I'm confused. What's the difference?
I gots a lot of health issues, but my main complaint is Fibromyalgia. :(

Yes, you should be fine. The only way MMS can be sold in the US these days is to call it "water purification drops" - and it is a mixture that is 28% sodium chlorite. (That's what it's called - since sodium chlorite is only 80% of the original flake, it's REALLY less than that, but we all call it 28%)-

The Citric Acid solution is called a 50% citric acid, because it's equal weights water and citric acid powder. Yours should be fine. We do have a list of vendors here on the forum, if you prefer to work with one of those.

Sodium chlorite mixed with (or activated by) citric acid makes chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide is actually the gas that forms when you mix the two.

Steve at keavey's corner is a very reputable source who stands behind his product - so you don't have a concern there.

I do know how to make MMS - there are several "how to's" - but the bottom line is that it's done by weight, so if you wanted to make it, you would be best having a gram scale that measures to the nearest .1 gram, and can be calibrated.
