@Grateful
Definately add water to the dmso mix to avoid burning - good idea to measure it and try it out on a smaller area for a few days before expanding to other areas.
Protocol 3000 - everyone seems to be doing different protocols, i guess because everyone's different and it's your choice - since i have used mms on and off for 3 years i'm doing protocol 1000.

Regarding the chest area - hsv goes to the lungs as well - result - mucous, phlegm, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. - i have mini obs on my chest - if you don't have them you're lucky!
I meant to start a thread on this sympton but figured the protocol would get it as i'm seekng to eradicate it entirely.
all the best and like delite says keep us informed on how it goes.

@Blessed - thanks for the gentle (uh hum) reminder lol.

@Delite - thanks also for the eye reminder - initially i sprayed my face a couple of times and experienced a minimal burning sensation in the eyes - but then adjusted quickly and started to put it on my hands...excellent point!
Yes i've had very minimal obs on my lip, but they never were very big.

take care all.

@Delite, I will keep you all informed and will just spray mixture into my hand and then pat my face. I am just figuring out the right dosage right now since there seems to be more than one. Thank you!

@Delite, for the external treatment, how much of the mms/ citric acid and DMSO do you use before diluting? How much water are you diluting the mixture with?

@Research, thank you. I mentioned following protocol 3000 because that is an external treatment Jim has created. I started out with protocol 1000 for a couple of days just to see how my body would react to mms. I thought protocol 1000 was only an internal treatment. For the dosages, (20/20/20) you were doing for the external treatment, it sounded like you were following John D's protocol except perhaps a little less on the DMSO, 20 drops instead of 2 tablespoons. I don't know if you were diluting the mixture or not. Did you or not?! Was there any burn?!

Last night, I tried the treatment, starting with 20 activated mms and 20 of DMSO and added 1/4 cup (instead of just one ounce like Jim H. says) of water. That way I was definitely adding 50% water to the mixture. It was painless! No burning at all! I just felt a tingle and itchiness in some places, mainly behind the neck and lower back area but not even that much! I put the mixture on my face, (ninja area), behind the ears, in front of them, in front of the neck ( no irritation at all in those places!) I put some on my arms, the groin (I later noticed a small throbbing pain on one side of the groin), the legs a little, and up 10 inches on the spine, the butt crack and butt cheeks. I don't know how the virus could go down the legs though. ???

@ Research, thanks for explaining why applying the treatment on the chest is helpful. I did with no reaction after though. I have never had phlem, bronchitis or other lung issues because of HSV. Well, at least not that I am aware of.

I still have to do this process 4-5x a day. I only started late last night. This morning I did an application but this time I only used an ounce of water (like Jim H. recommends) and no extra! I felt no burn at all, just some itchiness in some places, even slightly on my right jaw area. I am curious to go up to 50//50/50 drops for the solution but I just don't want a burn at all! Well, I could handle a little burn in some places but not for my face and front of my neck! I also don't want anymore damage to anY of my skin! I would dilute mixture of course to at least an ounce or 1/4 of a cup. I think if I try this next level, I will do other areas first before my sensitive face and front of the neck! I also still want to try the bath treatment.

Tomorrow will be the beginning of my third week doing the mms treatment. When I started taking 1/2 capsules of mms2, I felt nausea at first and a slight burning feeling in the stomach. I immediately ate a rice cracker to get rid of the feeling, followed by more water. Now, when I take mms2, I don't even need to take any food right after or any extra water than the 8oz. If there is a slight burn in the stomach, it is so small and it eventually goes away. I don't have nausea from mms. Perhaps that will come later. I have felt sores wanting to come for HSV 2 but they don't. They are just a bruised feeling. Inside the mouth, I have had such small ones that quickly go away. I have had big ones before this treatment that would last longer! I have a feeling this treatment is slowly working! I am hoping as John D said, I will not have anymore out breaks by the third week but we'll see. I still have to do a lot of this external treatment. Therefore, more outbreaks may come. I do have had just a little diarrhea but not much since starting this treatment. I know staying up late, doesn't help and that can add to the veins coming out in the inside of my mouth, the inside of the cheeks. I have always had that as a the beginning of OBS. I will try to sleep earlier! It's a bad habit and I know it affects me! Thank you all again for the advice!

@Grateful.

I used about 20-30 activated drops of MMS, a table spoon of water and a table spoon of DMSO.

I add the water to the MMS first then add the DMSO.

Some will say this dilution is too weak but I can still feel it burning and it had stopped the twitching in my cheek. Also, I can do hourly sprays for 3-5 hours straight without causing excess irritation to my skin.

I have a hectic week coming up, so I will go back to my protocol and DMSO intensively from the 1st week of July for about 2-4 weeks , but I will maintain my oral MMS.

@Research, maybe the chest pains I had was a 'die-off'.

@Grateful,
sorry...i forgot to add the + it should have protocol 1000+

regarding the dmso mixture yes I dilute it...i didn't want any burn issues either and I've just re-checked the amount of ozonated water i'm adding and i've been adding too much of it...again mini obs occur but not as much now so, i'll cut back a bit of the ozonated water and we'll see what happens...thanks for your info as it's assisting me.

yeah, one of the many symptons i have is pain in the left thigh/cheek area and shooting nerve pain that goes to the groin (or from the groin?) and down the left leg...i don't know i've read that there are different types of hsv2 virus - some more virulent than others and also...maybe the amount and severity of the symptons depends on how long a person has had the infection.

I haven't introduced the mms2 into the protocol...i may add it soon.

Sounds like your protocol is going well with minor issues...keep at it because this is a nasty thing and a tough one.
I also have had problems with the "staying up to late" issue...try to remain disciplined and determined to get your rest which is so important and you will beat this...there are alot of things to do from taking mms, etc. to eating right, to rest, to avoiding things that cause obs, etc, etc. etc.

@delite,
yeah, it sounds like it was die-off chest issues...something that i'm experiencing right now - although not as bad as your case, in that, I don't require antibiotics.

May I ask you...what maintenance program are you using while you wait for your results.

Thanks and take care all.

@Research.

I'm not on a maintenance, I'm still doing my 6-drops hourly over 8-10 hours. I have stopped the DMSO rubs, but I will continue later this week, as from Wednesday.

Whatever the outcome of my result I will do the full oral MMS and topical DMSO for a few more weeks just to make sure.
