Hi I am new here.
About 10 years ago (2014) when our son was 16 he started to have blood in his urine so we took him to the ER.  The doctor confirmed that he had Mono and high amounts of Creatine and protein in his Urine and said we needed to take him to see a Kidney specialist ASAP.  The Specialist diagnosed him with stage 3 kidney disease and wanted to do a biopsy.  Because of the risks involved in getting a biopsy,  we decided to hold off a little while until we could do some research.  Our son did not have any of the other symptoms of Kidney disease, just the creatine and protein levels.  We found another man on an IGA Nephropathy forum who matched our son's situation - After Mono had blood in his urine but was helped by a Chinese medicine Dr.  We contacted that Dr and he put our son on a Liver cleanse program followed by a Kidney cleanse program.  About a week after the last program we had another appointment with the specialist and this time his numbers were completely normal.
Fast forward to last year (2024) and our son went to his Primary care Dr for a typical check up.  His creatine and protein levels had gone back up slightly so the Dr wanted to see again in three months to check them again but wasn't too concerned.  He actually waited 6 months before he returned and this time his numbers were just under a stage 4 level!  The Dr said he needed to get into the kidney specialist ASAP.  The specialist is going to do a biopsy in about a week and wants to start putting him on immunosuppressant drugs.  The drug route always seems to just cause more issues without solving the first problem.
I saw that people with kidney cancer, Kidney stones and other kidney issues have been helped with MMS and DMSO.  I am wondering if any have been helped specifically with IGA Nephropathy.
