Store CDS in small bottles to reduce the amount of air space at the top of the bottle. The bottle and cap need to be able to contain the very small size of CLO2 gas. So what started out as over 3,000 PPM CDS (with a full bottle) could be closer to 2,000 PPM or less by that time in the bottle is empty. Am I understanding that correctly? TIA, Jim

Yes, that is true. CDS keeps degrading the longer you store it. If you can test the CDS for CLO2 content (ppm), you could use more of the CDS so you are getting the same CLO2 dosage. If your CDS measures 1500ppm, then you would use twice as much of it compared to CDS that was 3000ppm.

Now that we can make CDS in three hours time, you could make CDS daily or weekly, so you will always have 3000ppm CDS.
