Newbie here seeking guidance. Sorry if I'm giving TMI, I don't know what might be relevant to my questions. Background: I’d occasionally feel pain in my bottom right molar.  I get knots in my shoulders when I get stressed out and it’s hard for me to tell whether my teeth hurt from my knots, or vice versa. The knots and teeth pain alternates between my right and my left sides. The molar eventually cracked and I got a crown put on it.

Around March 2023, it started to hurt real bad, like I need a root canal bad, but by the time I saw the dentist for work on my left side, the pain had subsided and I was preoccupied with the work needed for my left side. I can only handle one stressor at a time. I’d continue to get occasional pain on my right molar but not more than usual. The work on my left molar was finally completed in Sept.At the start of Nov 2023, my right eye vitreous detached from the retina, the rash on my scalp flared up and then I developed a sore throat. Later in Nov, I developed a gum bump below my right molar. By the time I was finished with the eye appointments and sore throat, it was New Years 2024 and it occurred to me I might try MMS before calling my dentist. Last time, I had a gum bump and went to my dentist, it had to get pulled. I figured it couldn't hurt to give this a try. In January, I bought the books and supplies and started reading up on it. And did P1000 later in January.

I have some amalgams on the tooth next to the molar so I decided to use the patch instead of brushing. I didn’t have the exact, recommended protocol for the patch so I started experimenting with the formula and timing. In March, I eventually settled on 3 drops MMS, 2 drops 4% HCL to activate, ½ Tablespoon distilled water and 5 drops DMSO. I applied the patch at 9am, 2pm and 9pm with lunch at noon and dinner at 6pm.

The patch was gradually reducing the swelling but there was still a tiny pimple like bump. I had my routine checkup on Mar 19 and xrays were taken. He said the root was beyond getting a root canal, and I needed to get it pulled.

At this point, there isn’t any swelling, even the tiny pimple head is gone, there isn’t any pain and I’m only doing the one patch at 2pm, just for maintenance. My question is, Is it possible for the root to heal and regenerate itself after there’s decay? Is it worth it to give it a few more months on this maintenance protocol and take another xray to see if there’s any improvements? Or should I just go ahead an get it pulled? Has anyone experienced root healing after decay, after using MMS/DMSO on a tooth abscess?

I’m a newbie to MMS & DMSO so I appreciate any answers to my questions. Thanks,Wanna
