Did you take it during, or outside of your MMS dosing hours, and what do you recommend? Do you think it is necessary to get food grade Borax, or is the stuff from 20MuleTeam OK to use? Anyone try it with their elderly dog for arthritis? Thanks again for all the great contributions to the board!

Try to get 99.9% borax and you're all good. I have it right before MMS and have never had a problem. Make the mix with a teaspoon of borax in a litre of water and dosing is a teaspoon of that mix in a cup of water. I think it would be fine for a dog as I can't see anything bad happening from using it at all. Ten years of using it for me and I use more than the starting dose. No issues whatsoever.

Update* My wife just told me that she gave it to our dog for about 5 years when he had cancer.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
