Can anybody tell me if these can still be used, or are they now too old? Patrick

Wait a minute or so, looking for the amber color, wave your nose close to the glass, and inhaling slightly for the sharp smell. If it does all that, personally I would use it. If you want a reasonably more accurate test,
use some ClO2 Test Strips.

They aren't super accurate, but they will give you a usable and obvious value.
