I'm new to this information, and my only frame of reference is what Jim Humble has learned that works.  And that he cautions us to be careful regarding what other writers (who haven't done the research) say.

My request meant no offense. It was just an honest question.  I will check out the references you suggested.

Just to add my $0.02 here, I have an interesting observation.  I have taken several month long MMS protocols plus several ivermectin cycles as well, so I thought "no way do I have parasites."  Well, then I listened to a bunch of Dr. Lee Merritt's material, and she says that "if you have pets, you have parasites."

I had been thinking about taking food grade DE for a while and had some on the shelf for a while.  Then I tried it during my most recent MMS protocol, and WOW!  I had "all kinds of stuff" coming out that wasn't supposed to be in there.  This kept going for a week or 2 and then all was back to normal.

My hypothesis after working with ClO2 for my entire adult life in water treatment:  It is great, eliminates bad gut bacteria, and cleans/oxygenates your blood, but it probably doesn't survive long enough to affect the later parts of your digestive system.  It is very quick to oxidize the first thing that it can, and then it turns into oxygen and chloride ion.  The oxygen is very beneficial, or course, and the chloride ion combines with other simple ions like sodium or magnesium before being removed.

I'm not a doctor, but I work very hard to not need them (for the most part).

Also, to answer the original question, MMS is not HCQ.

BTW, ButterBreath, you're spot on about the DE.  Here's what Jim wrote in 2011.

"MMS will, for the most part, heal the diseases of mankind, with a few exceptions, but the Genesis 2 Church of Health and Healing has most of the exceptions already worked out.  Aztec clay, oil of oregano, diatomaceous earth, and magnets are already being used to overcome the exceptions that MMS does not handle."

The original product that I have used so far is made by Starwest Botanicals, and I picked it up at my local natural/organic supply store called Nature's Wonders.  Highly recommend, but don't remember what it cost.  I'm not much of price shopper- just buy from people that I like unless it is extreme.

After trying it myself first and slowly working my way up to 1 heaping Tbsp/day knocked back in a few ounces of water, we are now dosing our 3 dogs with it as well as using it for many other interesting uses- everything from dusting the dogs fur with it as a flea/tick repellent to powdering our electrical boxes and other nooks and crannies with it to keep the bugs/wasps out.  It's very interesting how many uses there are for it (not unlike the ClO2).  Just don't inhale much or rub it into your eyes.

I just the other day ordered a 50 lb. sack of it from Prescribed for Life along with another 5 Kg bag of NaClO2.  We will vacuum pack a bunch of both of these for our prepping stacks at our Ozarks off-grid homestead project.

I purchased about a year ago. Sometimes I mix a tablespoon in with my coffee. It's a great source of dietary Silica(Bones,skin,hair nails).If you Use it with olive leaf extract,oil of oregano and black walnut,your gut will be clean as a whistle

I have recently started the MMS Protocols. I’m in the middle of Protocol 1000. One thing I notice for sure is that you must take your dose hourly for 8 hours a day to continually attack the problem in your body. If you only take it twice a day, I don’t think you will see much benefit. Definitely buy Jim Humbles Book and read everything that applies to you and you will understand better. It is a simple process but it can be so simple that we think we remember every little step then we can mess up.  Take it seriously if you want to get better. Every detail matters. Follow the protocols to a T. I hope you get results soon!
