Hi everyone. My daughter follows the Kerri Rivera protocol. Kerri suggests activating the drops for 60 seconds, Jim Humble recommends 30 seconds. please explain what is the difference?

When I make CDS, I notice that the sodium chlorite and HCl mixture gets darker and darker over the course of several minutes. I assume that the darker it gets, the more CLO2 has been produced. Using Kerri's method probably takes advantage of that extended time.

I think Jim Humble suggests 30 seconds because the ClO2 gas starts dissipating
as soon as it is created. But it doesn't evaporate that fast.
I take "30 seconds" as "at least 30 seconds".
But 60 seconds is probably fine, and you will probably get a higher concentration
of ClO2 gas in the water solution.

Thanks for the answer. And what do you think, in terms of benefits and also tolerability by the body, which option is more suitable?

I don't think it matters.

Some people claim that Sodium Chlorite messes with their stomachs.

But I don't think people really know. They have done SOME "testing",
and the results are most likely highly anecdotal (I assume).
A lot of it is personal testing and reports. But everyone is different.

Some people claim that CDS (fully activated "MMS") doesn't negatively
affect stomachs like MMS1 can.

But IT WILL if you have an Herxheimer Reaction from detoxing too much too quickly.

So how much is the Sodium Chlorite messing with people's stomachs and how much
is simply Herxing?

Activated MMS1 only converts to about 5% to 20% ClO2 (depending on people's reports).
The rest is activated in your stomach using your Hydrochloric Acid there.
Or as much as it can, depending on the amount of HCl in your stomach.
Again, everyone is different.
People who have "low HCl" sometimes switch to using CDS. (again, it is basically "guessing"
based on interpretation of results and physical feelings)

So maybe another 50% to 90% is activated in your stomach, depending on various factors.

Some have suggested it is not the Sodium Chlorite that messes with your stomach,
it is the REACTION of converting it into ClO2. (?)

Again, AFAIK, most of this has not really been tested thoroughly scientifically in vivo.
So, although Empirical Data is the best, mostly what we have is Anecdotal Data,
which isn't as good, but isn't worthless, either. Most of this stuff is "do the best you can"
with what we have and are able to do, etc. Some of it through decades of use and "testing".

So I wouldn't really worry about it, unless it is causing you stomach issues or it
doesn't seem to be working as well as you think it should.
Then you can think about what to do about that.
