I had a double mastectomy for breast cancer and my lymph nodes under one arm are swollen.  Has anyone else had this issue and if you have what protocol did you follow to help decrease the inflammation / infection?

My tendency is to follow a "Can't hurt, might help" attitude and behavior.

It would be great if it did help. Then you can inform others about your anecdotal experience.
