I mention on my website, link below, where I get my products.

I've never used Citric Acid, only Hydrochloric Acid.
I've heard that Citric Acid does not taste good.
HCl tastes much better, apparently.

My supplier has been very good and reliable and helpful.
(NO Conflict of Interest with me mentioning them)
I've talked to them on the phone a few times and they answered
questions I had.

Yes, and apparently that is okay. (afaik, and I've done some research on it just to be safe and sure)

DMSO is compatible with plastics like PETE, HDPE, LDPE ,PTFE and PP, however it is not compatible with other plastics such as , PVC, PS and poly carbonate due to its reactivity . Also reacts with many acid chlorides, DMSO is highly hygrocopic and stored in air tight bottles.

naturopathicguy Offline New Member Posts: 3 Thank you received: 0	Sorry but I have done some good reading on DMSO, all DMSO experts say that it should never be in a plastic bottle, only glass bottles should be used, I have bought DMSO before, and all reputable sellers sells it in a glass bottle. I do not trust a seller who sells DMSO in a plastic bottle.

The GREATER MAJORITY of information I found says that the plastics as noted are completely safe.

Some references say glass bottles only, but they are very rare.(afaict)

It's difficult to tell, but I think those references tend to be "old" before they had the "good" plastics
that we have today, and before the more modern research was done to ensure safety.

And your comment "all DMSO experts say that it should never be in a plastic bottle,
only glass bottles should be used" is basically completely fallacious.

To Huffpost:

I like that your website uses NaClO2 made in the US, as that is a requirement for me so far; I don't trust China. It seems that HCL is the preferred activator now, and they use citric acid. I would see if they would sell the NaClO2 alone and then just buy HCL separately. You can buy it almost anywhere as the 31-35% HCL called muriatic acid for some reason, and then dilute it down. Or I guess just buy the set and toss the citric acid. I bought some NaClO2 flakes and am going to make my own solution.

Now I just learned that I can buy the CDS I don't have to activate which is also a NaClO2 solution, and I don't understand the difference and am totally confused, after reading pages of writing by Jim Humble.. I still don't understand. It would be a lot easier than having to mix the 2 bottles every hour. Hopefully I'll learn from this forum.
