Caring for two family members who are coming off of SSRI drugs (like Prozac/Paxil/etc).  Having read about the self-destructive side-effects of withdrawal from these evil drugs (the SSRI’s) and understanding one cannot just quit them cold-turkey, I am interested in any literature that explores the potentially helpful effects of MMS for this withdrawal process.  Since hypoglycemia is a nearly ubiquitous symptom in SSRI/SNRI withdrawal, and since MMS can definitely help with hypoglycemia, I am definitely interested in ANY studies on it.  Dr. Ann Blake Tracy (drug awareness.org) does a fantastic job of helping people wade through the withdrawal effects more safely, however, she does not discuss MMS adding to her suggested protocol.

After nearly 20 years of SSRI use, I am interested in helping my family member come off this horrid stuff.
Please, anyone here used MMS specifically to help with SSRI withdrawal?  Or Cushing’s disease (not veterinary related)? Or Serotonin Syndrome?  Or elevated Cortisol?

Thank you in advance.

I just recently got back on Zoloft and I don’t want to be on it so if you find out anything if you could let me know I’d greatly appreciate it. This MMS sounds amazing and I am so intrigued trying to learn as much as I can.

I don't know enough to answer the OP questions.

I have had Clinical Depression since a teenager or thereabouts, very late adult diagnosed.

I took many brands of antidepressants, for many years, and some helped.
I finally got a GOOD psychiatrist who knew what she was doing and she found two that worked pretty good for me in unison. (I can't remember what they were now)
I kept going off of them because they tend to make you feel "neutral", and sometimes feeling depressed is better than not feeling anything at all. This is a common scenario for people who take antidepressants long term.

It's really unfortunate that they can't find an antidepressant that stops you from "going low" but allows you to "go high".

But I don't like pharmaceuticals, especially "mind altering drugs", so I quit for many years and just dealt with it as best as I could.

Then I found MMS to use for an egregious health issue. And I'll report what many people report: Not only did it Restore my Health, it also helped with a lot of other things for which I was not taking it. ("Positive Side Effects" or "Side Benefits")

I like to read and watch MMS testimonials, and one day I watched one where the person said it got rid of their tinnitus. And I said out loud, "That's cool. I have (light) tinnitus. Maybe it will get rid of mine." And then I realized I didn't have tinnitus anymore. It HAD gotten rid of mine. You get so used to it that it's just there and I didn't realize it had gone away. I 'talk' about this on my website.

Anyway. Miraculously, MMS (and maybe McVeganism, or combined -- see my website) got rid of my depression. It was so cool to not feel depressed and be like I was decades ago. I have regressed some over the last few years, health-wise and depression-wise, but generally I am much better off than I was before with my depression. (and similarly health-wise -- I felt like I did in the 90s -- it was wonderful to feel "good" and healthy again and have energy, or at least so much improved it was amazing)

Now that I have moved out of my MOLDY home, I am seriously doing MMS again because my health got bad again, and I expect to finally get some Health Restoration that I hope will stick this time.

So maybe you will experience something similar. I hope so.
