watchdog Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 2 Thank you received: 0	If I buy CDS in a glass bottle from a supplier, what is the expected shelf life for the CDS? Knowing that previously I bought CDS is a plastic bottle that I forgot I had, and after 5 months, I tried to squeeze drops out of it and the plastic bottle busted like a foam cup. Thanks again.

Arcus Offline Senior Member Posts: 50 Thank you received: 13	The best storage container is dark colored glass (brown, green). Keep it in a dark place, UV light is its enemy. Neither solution ingredient is friendly to PVC containers. 6 months to a year or longer if stored properly. I make my own in smaller 2 oz dropper bottle batches now, The following user(s) said Thank You: JimH1954

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
