I have had a few mercury amalgams removed and still have some. No plans to remove them yet. Can I do the oral MMS? Or is that contraindicated?

That should be okay to do. But, I would suggest you use CDS which is only CLO2 in water. MMS1 and CDH both contain residual MMS and acid activator.

Where could I find out more information about how/why the CDS would be preferable with mercury amalgams?  Thanks

The PDF file shows that CDS is less acidic than MMS1 or CDH. If you use a higher pH water to mix with CDS, then the mouth wash / teeth brushing solution will be more alkaline.

You might be able to find online a compatibility chart of CLO2 and amalgam fillings.
