I am doing the clay protocol along with my CDS protocol and it is very soothing to the throat, as opposed to drinking the CDS or MMS alone. My question is:
Does the clay added into the dosage of CDS, neutralize my CDS potency? I think I notice it less potent when taking clay alongside, just checking?
Thanks,
Karen

The question is by how much.
If you want the most out of both you probably should not mix the two.
One of the clay and MMS protocols calls for taking clay and then MMS/CDS one hour later, and so on. Sounds like a better option to me.

I'm doing 1/8 teaspoon mixed in 1 ounce of sparkling water. Then gargle it and swallow directly after dosing. When dosing every 15 minutes, the throat can become rather sore. Maybe I'll try the gargle and spit out, rather than swallow. Thanks much, Karen

When holding CLO2 in your mouth, but not swallowing it, that is called the mouth-holding-method (MHM).

The membrane lining of the mouth (oral mucosa) has an absorption efficiency of more than 90%, according to the Physician’s Desk reference Handbook.

I've tried it and it's very effective for absorption in the mouth, however it is really hard on my teeth. I'm not sure if it's eating the enamel off or what but it's not something I can do 8 times a day.

Yes, it is acidic, which is not good for teeth enamel. That is why I don't think brushing with CLO2 is a good idea.

If you used alkaline water, that would help. Check the pH. And check the CLO2 concentration (ppm) to be sure you are not losing too much CLO2.

But Jim says it is a must. And the solution is stated as neutral in his book. I'm confused now. Please explain to me

Hi Shan9210,
I do brush with the MMS1, 5 drops in a 1/2 cup water. That's different than what we've been discussing so let me put it into perspective for you. I'm on Protocol 1000 Plus, which has me dosing every 15 minutes with high quantities of CDS. This makes my throat very sore and it doesn't have a chance to recover, like the hourly dosing method does. I did take CLO2's suggestion about using high alkaline water and it has make a big difference with my morning doses. I hope that helps, Karen

I'm worried about MMS1 making the blood acidic as the pH is low. I tested with pH paper and is indeed highly acidic.
I do see improvement though. So that is why I'm confused. Am at a stage where I can't take any chances.
