Not either if it would help you getting rid of your respiratory issues any quicker. I hear people adding all kinds of agents to their humidifying water. Iodine, Vit C, essential oils, colloidal silver, you name it. Try it and see how it goes.

I doubt that this helped, but it is a good way to decontaminate the device. CD tends to wreck the metal parts in anything, since it oxidizes metals. ended up taking a CD bath.
