I asked Jim Humble and Andreas Klacker the same question and they responded NO, it is not the same and cannot be used, I cannot remember why.... If you could find calcium hypochlorite, that is the only substitute, and is used inside a capsule only. It is MMS2, we could give you instructions. The following user(s) said Thank You: DanielV

Calcium hypochlorite, Ca(ClO)_2,a powder or granules, is MMS2, but sodium hypochlorite, NaCLO, a liquid, is Clorox bleach which will release toxic chlorine gas!

If you can't find MMS (sodium chlorite, NaCLO₂) you can use MMS2, Calcium hypochlorite. Follow directions as outlined in Jim Humble's latest book , MMS Health Recovery Guidebook.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
