I've been putting 5 drops of activated mms in my waterpik. I also floss with that mixture, before doing the waterpik. I feel i need to be doing something in addition to this. Any suggestions? Also, i've been using regular tap water in the water pik.... better to use bottled? Many thanks mira

If you are sure your tap water is safe to drink, then it is probably okay to use with MMS. Otherwise, use a good water filter or buy distilled water.

I presume you are following the Tooth Brushing Procedure found on pages 73-76 in Jim Humble's latest book. DMSO can be added to the procedure and Jim explains how to safely do that. I would probably not use DMSO in a waterpik because of unknown parts that may come in contact with DMSO.

If I was treating gum disease I would use CDS as strong as I could stand, starting with 4 parts water to 1 part 3000 ppm CDS. I would brush with that and also hold it in my mouth for a few minutes before spitting it out. DMSO can be added to the mixture. This procedure can be repeated several times during the day.

thank you very much for your response. Yes, i am following the Tooth Brushing Procedure in Jim's book. I realize, however, that tooth problems are not necessarily the same as 'gum' problems!

Just to check that i have this right (I'm a total new comer to CDS): if i have 2 drops of activated mms1, that is equivilent to .4 ml of CDS. I take that .4ml and add it to 1.6ml of water? One more checking: 5 drops activated mms1 = 1ml. I take that 1ml and add it to 4ml of water?

Also, what is the sign that I 'can't stand' a stronger CDS dose? Burning in the mouth? Nausea? I have epilepsy and even for the waterpik i had to start very slow with adding the MMS to it.... as i started getting some (mild) seizure symptoms when I started out with too many drops... So I'll be glad to know what to look out for with the CDS, before the seizure symptoms start to trigger...

Finally, how much DMSO would you add?

Yes, to both questions. These equivalents are for external use only because MMS1 does not have much CLO2 unless it reaches a stomach with normal amounts of gastric acids.

Yes, mouth irritation due to a high amount of CLO2 (for you).

Jim recommends up to 3 drops of DMSO for each 1 drop of MMS. For your example of 5 drops of MMS1 or 1 ml of 3000 ppm CDS, you can add up to 15 drops of DMSO.
