I hope someone can help me. I started mms last week for the first time. I have been doing protocol 1000 for 7 days at 3 drops an hour 8 times a day for 7 days hoping to help gallbladder problems. I have been fine with no side effects up until now. This morning i felt the start of what felt like a uti. I haven't had one in years and if i ever felt something in the past i drink alot of water and it goes away so i drank a lot of water, continued the protocol and expected it to go away but before bed it started feeling worse. Before going to sleep i took a tsp of baking soda in water. However i have woken up in the middle of the night with severe pain. It feels like a bladder infection and my urine in bright red!! I have taken more baking soda and had a bath with epsom salts and the pain is still really bad. I dont know why this happened as i have been following the protocol exactly and eating a very clean diet. I haven't even had sugar for two years and i dont eat honey or alot of any other sweet thing. Is it an infection or inflammation of the bladder from the mms? If anyone could advise me i would be very grateful. Thanks

If you're getting blood in your urine, you should go see a doctor.

In the meantime, you could try drinking cranberry juice if you have reason to believe it's a bladder infection. Cranberry juice really helps with bladder infections.
