Looking for a little guidance on using the test strips Mr. Humble recommends. I would like to use MMS1 in the vegetable juice I make fresh each day in my juicer. So I bought a bottle of the strips and tried to test the MMS1 in the juice. However, the juice stained the test strip so bad that the test strip was rendered worthless. It stained the strip so bad I could not see the color. It was just a deep red color. When I ran the test in water mixed in the MMS1 all went very well, so I know I was doing the test right, and that the bottle of strips are good.

The juice is a blend of organic celery, beet, carrot, green apple, kale, parsley, cilantro, red cabbage, lemon, cucumber, and romaine lettuce. I make my MMS1 with supplies from an approved supplier, and I use the 4% acid. When I pour the juice into the MMS1 it smokes a little, so I decided to test it. Also wanted to make sure it was compatible with MMS1 anyway.

Thus my question is this: Does anyone know any other way to test a vegetable juice to know whether or not it is compatible with MMS1? The reason I want to use the juice is because when I use water I have all I can to drink it down. It is not the taste so much, it is just that my throat begins to shudder and shake, if that make sense. My body seems to go into a very strong revolt to the MMS1 in water. I force it down anyway. Mr.Humble says why this happens in his books, and it makes sense. I know it is not hurting me, but since I do ten doses a day, the baby human side of me whines and looks for a more pleasant experience. Thanks for your help!

I don't see any way around your problem of measuring CLO2 when your special mix is added to MMS1. Would have the same problem if using a photometer.

Have you looked into the method of ingesting MMS discussed in this forum research thread?

The method discussed is NOT G2C approved, but might be worth a try in your case. Remember to start with low doses if you decide to try it.

If you do try it, let us know how it worked for you.

Thanks COL2. I followed the link you gave and read about it. Very interesting. I'm going to take the watch and wait approach on it for now. If I understand how the gastro connection works correctly, the stomach does not produce acid until after approximately 45 minutes after one eats. The food we eat sits in the upper stomach above the fold in a pre-digestive mode. During this time the stomach makes a new batch of acid in the lower stomach, below the fold. When the acid is ready the fold opens, the food drops down into the new acid. Unless there is a need for the acid to digest a meal, there is no acid period. Now this is only my understanding, right or wrong I don't know for sure. But thanks for answering, and for introducing yet another interesting approach to MMS use. For now I will just take MMS with water and put up with my body's reaction to it.

Thanks for that interesting info on how our stomachs work. Never heard of that! Do you have a link where I can read about it?

I have heard that acid is not released until some food is on its way to the stomach, but to wait for 45 minutes for the two to meet seems a bit long. People who use the non-acidified MMS method report sometimes belching up CLO2 gas almost immediately. Hmmm....

COL2 here is a link that lists several other great links about how the stomach, and stomach acid work. The articles are written by Jon Barron. In all my online research I have found very few other sites explaining as well as Barron's on how our bodies work. When you read Barron's bio you find he is well respected and well known. Find his works here
