Hello All,
I've been reading, watching, and listening to the information on mms for about a month. In trying to clearly understand the startup, I have read it many times and have come to this conclusion. Startup states to mix 1 drop of activated mms to 4 oz's of water. Drink one ounce and throw the rest away. My understanding is that we are wanting to start with 1/4 of the starting level of Protocol 1000, which is 1 drop per 4 oz.. I understand that you are drinking 1/4 of a drop in the 1 oz., but the solution is not the same. You have reduced the water by 75%, therefore increasing the strength of it. If what is really trying to be done is 1/4 of the 1 drop per 4 oz, you can not reduce the amount of water. I have been writing a procedure that I can clearly follow and I'll attach it if I can. I hope this is clear to what I'm attempting to say. If there are things found that are incorrect, would someone please tell me. So I guess my question would be is what I'm stating correct? If not, why not?
Thank you,
Brad L

Brad, the 1 drop dose of MMS1 is equally dispersed throughout the 4 fl oz of water, so when you throw away 3/4 of the 4 fl oz solution, you are left with 1/4 of the MMS1 dose and 1/4 of the water or 1 fl oz. The ratio of MMS1 to water is the same. If you want to add more water to that solution, you can. From the book for day one of the Starting Procedure:

Pour off 1/4th or 1 ounce/30 ml of this water mixture into another glass and drink it. Note: Before you drink this 1 ounce/30 ml you can add a little additional water—an ounce or two at most—if you want to dilute the taste before you drink it.

continued from above MMS STARTUP
A second way to amend the mms startup would be when making a:
1/4 drop solution, after discarding 3 ounces of solution, you must add 3 ounces of water to reduce the concentration.
1/2 drop solution, after discarding 2 ounces of the solution, you must add 2 ounces of water to reduce the concentration. And a
3/4 drop solution, after discarding 1 ounce of solution, you must add 1 ounce of water to reduce the concentration.
I believe this corrects the concentration issue to what it was meant to be.
If you mix 1 drop of mms to 4 ounces of water and throw away 3 ounces and drink 1 ounce, the concentration of that 1 ounce is still a 1 drop per 4 ounce concentration. I agree your drinking 1/4 of a drop, bur the concentration is not a weaker solution until you add back in water for the solution you've thrown away.
Does anyone agree?
Sincerely,
Brad L

...the concentration is not a weaker solution until you add back in water for the solution you've thrown away.

The CLO2 concentration in the remaining 1 fl oz of solution is the same ppm as in the original 4 fl oz, but the volume is 1/4 or 1 fl oz. Therefore, you are ingesting 1/4 the amount of CLO2. The formula for the amount of CLO2 is:

Dose (mg of CLO2) = Concentration (ppm) x Volume (liters)

As an example for this 1 drop MMS1 solution in 4 fl oz of water:
Concentration 10 ppm x 0.120 L (4 fl oz) = 1.2 mg of CLO2
Concentration 10 ppm x 0.030 L (1 fl oz) = 0.3 mg of CLO2

You can see that the amount of CLO2 in 1 fl oz in milligrams is 1/4 what it was in 4 fl oz. Ingesting the 1 fl oz MMS1 solution is a weaker solution than the original amount.

Dear CLO2,

In your last response you start by saying the solution is the same and you close by saying the solution is weaker??? I guess what is apparently done is you're to drink 1/4 of the Protocol 1000 of 1 drop per 4 oz. solution. What I don't like is throwing it away. Also, today I think we know that making a daily dose is perfectly fine. Startup specifies that each dose must be made each hour and that just seems to be outdated. Below is another attempt to make a daily dose without throwing anything out. I hope we can agree on this one.

MIRACLE MINERAL SOLUTION MMS STARTUP

The first thing you want to do each day is to eat a healthy breakfast early in the morning. The earlier you start your MMS for the day, the sooner it will be complete for the day! This procedure uses a 16 oz. (GLASS preferably) bottle with tight lid and 50% citric acid.
Approximately one hour after eating begin:

First Day:
Place two drops of MMS using a 8 or 16 oz. bottle and two drops of 50% citric acid. Wait 30 seconds for activation, then add 8 oz. of water and drink 1 oz. of solution every hour for the next 8 hours. (This solution makes equivalent of ¼ drop of activated mms to each 1 oz. serving.)

Day two and three:
Place four drops of MMS using an 8 or 16 oz. bottle and four drops of 50% citric acid. Wait 30 seconds for activation, then add 8 oz. of water and drink 1 oz. of solution every hour for the next 8 hours. (This solution makes equivalent of 1/2 drop of activated mms to each 1 oz. serving.)

Day Four and Five:
Place six drops of MMS using an 8 or 16 oz. bottle and six drops of 50% citric acid. Wait 30 seconds for activation, then add 8 oz. of water and drink 1 oz. of solution every hour for the next 8 hours. (This solution makes equivalent of 3/4 drop of activated mms to each 1 oz. serving.

Day Six : Start Protocol 1000

Sincerely,
Brad L

Sorry to say I made a mistake in the previous post. I forgot to change the amount drank on days two and three to 2 oz. On days 4 and 5 it will be 3 ounces.

I'm sorry again. As you can see I'm new to doing any posting. Please disregard my last post to change the amount drank.

Brad, you are trying to re-write Jim's latest book on how to take MMS1.

Making and taking hourly doses of MMS1 is what Jim suggests because that method has proven to provide better results in restoring health. He does not suggest an all-day bottle unless you can't make hourly MMS1 doses.

The Starting Procedure only lasts for 4 days, so "throwing away" a small amount of MMS is not a big deal and is the easiest way to make and take MMS1 doses of less than 1 drop.

It appears you don't understand the formula for calculating milligrams of CLO2 in a dose.
