This question is for the experts out there. I have a friend who has bilateral hip replacements and want to use MMS. This person in concerned with the elevated blood oxidation potential and if that may react to any particles of the above mentioned metals implanted in the body. Most likely the implants will release some metal particles into the blood or surrounding tissues. Will the MMS have adverse affects on the body if used under these conditions. Or, will it actually help to detox the metals. Also, I have read that MMS will detox metals out of the body. How does that work? Thanks

You may have missed finding this information in Jim's latest book, MMS Health Recovery Manual :

I suggest that you never use MMS (sodium chlorite solution) without mixing it with citric acid, HCl, or another proven food-grade acid to activate it. Once it is activated, you should always mix it with water before consuming it or applying it to the skin (the amount of water you add varies according to the protocol).

Sodium chlorite is otherwise highly alkaline (pH 13) which is considered highly corrosive; and it can leach metal, producing metal compounds that could be deposited into the human system.

In some cases where an individual has certain types of stents or other metal in his body, consuming sodium chlorite without adding acid or making sure stomach acid is produced, could cause heavy metal poisoning over a long period of time—a few months to a year.

Keep in mind that when MMS1 is ingested it is about 10% activated, CDH 50% and original CDS is pure 100% CLO2 in distilled water - no MMS or activating acid. There should be info online about which metals CLO2 will react with and which ones it does not affect.

If one does not have adequate stomach acid to complete MMS activation, the un-reacted MMS could be a problem when certain metals are in a body.

Also, I have read that MMS will detox metals out of the body. How does that work?

I don't think we know the answer to that question. We need funds to pay for lab testing.
