So I'm on day 18 of the p 1000 + protocol.

I keep having constipation, so I decided to try some papaya seeds (6 each) with half a papaya to see if that would get things moving again.

It did. The next morning everything went smoothly! :)

But are there any foods that people should avoid to help with this problem? I have read that bananas are NOT the thing to be eating while on this protocol? And of course anything with vitamin C in it, and no sugar, preservatives, milk, alcohol.

What about nuts and seeds? Quinoa? Oatmeal? Grapes? Bread? Potatoes? Eggs? Cheese? Flour Tortillas?

Thanks for all your advice! Keep up the good work!

I forgot to mention Xylitol was used for sweetener in the Oatmeal. I think that is a sort of a low grade "mover" as well as being slightly antibacterial.

My understanding is that papayas are now all GMO. :(

Its okay to eat light meals/snacks in between doses during dosing hours and 1 hour after the last dose of the day, eat anything and all the supplements you want.

Best not to eat anything with added vitamin-c or known sources of large amounts of vitamin-c or antioxidants during dosing hours. If you do eat something like that during dosing hours, then add maybe one more drop to the hourly dose.

To combat constipation - Try upping the amount of water your mixing your drops with (or drink it separately ) Works for me.

Fourfingerz,

I've tried extra water and it just passes right thru me without causing a BM. I'm going to a maintenence dose after tommorrow anyway. I do get a BM every other day, so it's not dangerous, just annoying.

But thanks very much for the reply!

Warm water, especially first thing in the morning will effect the bowels much more than regular cold water.
