I've recently started a new bottle of MMS after using one I'd had for 4 years (stored in a brown glass bottle out of sunlight). The new batch makes me feel strange (even after taking just one drop when I could do the 3 drops X 8 hours before). I feel wired, I get a feeling like I've drunk lots of coffee. Butterflies in my stomach like I'm anxious about something, after it wears of I feel exhausted. I never got this with the previous bottle so I bought another bottle from one of the forums recommended suppliers and that is the same. Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks.

Have you gone a long time without using MMS?

I suspect your old bottle of MMS was not up to snuff.

You didn't mention which acid activator you are using or how you are mixing your 1 drop dose of MMS1.

If you have not taken a SCS, sodium chlorite solution, (MMS1, CDS or CDH) for a while you will need to start with low doses and slowly work up. Recently I started taking CDS for a problem and the first two days I had a continuous headache and I almost never get them. From day three on, no headache.

Do yourself a favor and use the Starting Procedure and see how that works for you.

Let us know.

I'd only been off MMS for about 10 days after using it for a couple of months, I'd gradually built up to the 1000 Protocol. I was using citric acid, vinegar or lemon juice with the previous batch and this one is 4% HCL, so I suspected it was the HCL but when I tried the new batch with the old activators I got the same effects.

I guessed it was probably the old stuff not up to much but have never read of anyone else having these symptoms. I do have a sodium sensitivity though and very salty food can make me feel similar, so maybe it's that but I wouldn't have thought that there was enough sodium, especially in the HCL activated MMS.

I'll go back and do the starting procedure again. Thanks.

It would be interesting if you used CDS which contains only CLO2 in distilled water, unless you buy it and the producer has added some MMS, which some do. To me, that kind of CDS is not CDS.

If you try CDS and don't get the symptoms you had using MMS1, then it may be the residual MMS in MMS1 that is bothering you.

MMS is made from 80% NaCLO2 and most of the other 20% is salt (sodium chloride). That might be your problem.

I was wondering about that. I'll get some and let you know what happens. Thanks

OK, I made a batch of CDS and have taken a few doses and not got the reaction.

I've been reading up on CDS and there seems to be quite a lot of people who haven't got such good results with it so have gone back to MMS1. Do you think that's because of the initial confusion over equivalent doses, or because the Sodium Chlorite and buffer salts are necessary for it to be effective?

Could I activate the MMS1 for longer to get more of it converted to CD? I'm guessing this isn't generally done because a lot of the CD will escape as gas? I presume that's why the instant CDH method uses some drops of water? Maybe I'll make a batch of CDH and see what effect that has.

My original bottle of MMS sat in a brown bottle in the dark for about 4 years. Then before I took any I discarded the surface film and sediment, which probably removed most of what ever it is in the new batch that's bothering me.

Hi vortex. Glad CDS is treating you okay.

Yes, internal dosing for CDS was low by a factor of 6 for a long time and that may be why some found it not so effective.

If you activate MMS1 longer you will release more CLO2. And yes, if activated longer in an open container you will lose some CLO2.

CDH is MMS activated much longer in a closed container and results in about 50% MMS activation. You could try making some CDH to see how it affects you. It is very easy to make and when 4% HCL activator is used to make CDH the shelf life is 2 weeks.
