What are the best juices to mix MMS? Preferably from people who have had success with the juices so we know it works (i'me trying to eliminate anything that could nullify the mms). Obviously not orange juice because of it's vitamin c content. What about apple juice?

Hi Dave,

In my opinion, this question is a little bit "touchy" and that is mostly because there are so many juices on the market today--and if you are buying a prepared juice you have to be careful about what the additives are. Here is more or less a rule of thumb to follow: some natural juices are okay if they do not have harmful preservatives and/or added vitamin C or ascorbic acid, as this will cancel out the effectiveness of MMS. Never choose a juice with ascorbic acid! Fresh juice is best. We have found apple, grape, and cranberry juice to work well with MMS, but again, it should be natural, without preservatives and not have added vitamin C (or ascorbic acid). Never use orange or tangerine juice in any form with MMS.

I have found that if you want to be sure, the best thing to do is test the juice with a LaMotte test strip. Whatever juice you want to use, pour 4 ounces of the juice into a glass, and add a 3 drop dose of MMS1 to it. Test with the LaMotte strip and see if it comes out to somewhere between 25 to 50 on the strip. (It should be between 25 and 30 if your MMS is the right dose. ) If this is the case, that is good, your juice did not immediately cancel out the MMS, if that was the case your strip would be very pale in color. Then cover that juice with the MMS drops in it and leave it sit for 1 hour. Aftter the hour, test with the strip again. it should read the same, or nearly the same. It might go down in strength a little bit, that is ok, but if it's nearly the same, then you know your juice or herbal tea or whatever you are testing is okay. Again, if you do this test and the first time you put the strip in it is not even close to 25 on the strip, then you know for sure your drink is not compatible with MMS.

I have found personally overall apple juice is a pretty good mix with MMS, I have tested many kinds of apple juices in various countries and it works pretty good--but be sure there is no ascorbic acid or added Vit C of any kind or other weird additives. Another tip, if you are looking to just mask the taste of MMS a bit, a squeeze of lemon can do wonders. Hope this helps.

At one time I measured the loss of CLO2 caused by adding lemon juice and it was significant at 38% reduction.

"Tested adding fresh squeezed lemon juice to some CDH to see if there is any loss of CLO2. There is about 38% reduction!

384ml DW + 16ml stock CDH = 400ml solution (cold)
158ppm without added lemon juice
103ppm at + 5 minutes after adding juice from a 150g lemon (75ml)
` 98ppm at + 60 minutes. 8 January 2014"

From healthyeating.sfgate.com/lemons-provide-vitamin-c-like-oranges-do-3508.html

"Both lemons and oranges contain similar amounts of vitamin C by weight".

Also tested SweetLeaf Stevia drops and found no reduction of CLO2. I don't like the taste of stevia but SweetLeaf is very different and I do like it. Only need to add 3 drops to a MMS1/CDH drink to really improve the taste. However, if citric acid is used to make MMS1, the taste is still awful!

Test strips, what a good idea - it takes all the guesswork out.
One thing i was also thinking about in regard to the fruit juices was what the fruit tree where fed with and where they watered with chlorinated water etc which contaminated the fruit and therefore the juice, but if i can actually measure the potency i don't have to think about all that, i can just test it and if it works it works, and if it doesn't try something else....

Dave, we look forward to seeing your testing results using different fruit juices.

Thanks!

The best fluid to get the effect is water - pinch your nose and just get it down. I woud rather have 100 % of the liitle I drink to be working directly on the issue requiring attention.

But then I have access to spring water. No additives at all.

I agree Sky. Kerri River's autism protocol calls for no juices.

Juice is not permitted on this protocol as it has proven time and time again to annul CD and cost families precious time and money. The amount of fruit necessary to make a glass of juice also causes it to be high in sugars, albeit natural, and they can still affect the immune system.

Children on this protocol need to drink water and generally speaking most former juice drinkers transition from drinking flavored beverages to water without much issue. If your child must drink a flavored beverage it would be acceptable to blend and strain or juice one apple, for example, and add it to some water and if you choose you can sweeten it with stevia (SweetLeaf® or KAL® brands are ok).

Fruit should not be consumed after a meal as a dessert due to its rapid digestion. If it is eaten after other more slowly digested foods (i.e. meat, grains, etc.), it can ferment in the stomach, causing bloating, gas, or discomfort.

Fruit is best eaten before a meal or separate from meals.

Very good point Sky, in fact, I do the pinch your nose thing quite often. I find myself personally, some times I tolerate the taste and smell better than other times--but pinching your nose really is effective. No muss, no fuss, bottoms up!

I have already been using water (purifed water) and have no problem using water, the whole point of using juce is that i don't have access to distilled water, however i can get spring water because they sell it in shops in all sort of varieties, but isn't the mms going to react with the minerals, which is the reason why to use distilled water????
