I have been following the Search for the Cure video series thetruthaboutcancer.com and numerous oncologists state that the general population is very low in iodine. Iodine receptor sites are being blocked by fluoride, chlorine particles leaving the body starved of iodine and predisposing us to cancer and other illnesses. Does the MMS (chloride) block the iodine receptor sites and compete with normal uptake of iodine?

I have had a weakened thyroid in the past due to toxic chlorine exposure and have a pretty good functioning thyroid now but I don't want to put it at risk by MMS if the chloride ion is competing with my iodine intake. Thanks for you help with this question.

I also have the same question? I am currently doing an Iodine supplement routine. Research says 96% of people are defecient, because iodine was takin out and toxic chemicals put in our food. The iodine has stopped my afib and heart palpitaions.

I was on another site researching an incredible natural product called fulvic acid which has about as may or more proven uses as MMS and in their Q&A section on the website I found this information which I think answers our own questions:
Q Can I mix Supreme Fulvic & Humic Complex with water or should it be

A MIXING WITH WATER: Supreme Fulvic & Humic Complex may be consumed by itself (not mixed
into water or any other liquid), however, if desired, the product may be mixed into a small amount (no more than 4 fluid ounces) of clean potable distilled water, reverse osmosis water or spring water. Do not use any type of sparkling mineral water or ozonated water.

NEVER MIX WITH REGULAR TAP WATER! Regular tap water typically contains chlorine and flouride. Do not mix the product with water that has any amount of chlorine in it. Note: We are not referring to “Chloride”, Chlorine is chlorine, chloride is chloride. “Chloride is a major mineral that is necessary for your stomach to make digestive juices and that helps keep your body fluids in balance. Chloride is found in the fluid surrounding all the cells in your body”.
