I had cataract surgery/implants 6 months ago and so far so good. I have read that a cloudiness can occur in some cataract patient's eyes that is easily fixed with a laser by the doctor/clinic that originally did the surgery and at no cost to the patient. Your OD is not likely to be able to perform that procedure.

Some say that CLO2 can help with cataracts, but I have not read any testimonials that is works. It might work, but I have not seen any proof of that.

The following info is from here :

Can my cataract come back?

No. It is not possible for a cataract to come back once it has been removed. However, in the months and years after surgery, about half of all cataract patients experience some reduction in vision as cells grow across the back of the clear capsular bag that holds the lens implant. Vision becomes fuzzy and dim much like it was with a cataract. This cloudiness is called a secondary cataract and is easily treated with the YAG laser. In one short visit, painless bursts of laser light create a tiny opening in the cloudy capsule to restore clear vision.

I've had severe dry eye for years, it's incredibly painful, thankfully I've had no loss of sight. I've found relief in one way - Refresh PM, it's a gel. Drops only made the dry eye worse as drops clean the eye and dry eye (in my case) is caused by lack of lubrication. I tried all the different brands of PM gels and Refresh "Sensitive" works best. Just use the tiniest bit of gel, wipe it in the lower lid, the relief comes quickly. I put a lot of it in before going to bed, this really helps. I've never tried mms for it, as it's a lubrication problem.
