Does the mixed drops change colour to dark yellow/brown?

How many drops at a time are you mixing? How long are you leaving the drops mixed before adding water. I find that larger doses left longer (> 60 seconds) before adding water are more likely to fume.

The colour I believe is a good indicator of Chlorine dioxide production. The best test is to use test strips:

My Mms turns dark yellow but never brown. MMS supplier futurehealth.com claims there products has fewer impurities then other suppliers can that be the answer ?

A colder mix will not react as quickly. You must of course store them in the dark (absolutely no UV light on the sodium chlorite). Martin

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
