I got bit by a bug on my outer thigh around July 1st or 2nd, and by the 3rd my thigh was swollen around 12 inches in diameter, hot, red, and there were a lot of small blisters forming.

I applied bromelain to the blisters as I was concerned they contained bug venom, and they deteriorated. I sloughed them off. I've been treating with MMS and a bunch of other things since then.

The area has been draining, but it began improving steadily. I don't have a fever, and I don't see any red lines forming. The swelling went down a great deal, and the area became much less warm to the touch.

Today I woke and it's just dripping a pale yellow, thin fluid at a much higher rate. I made an appointment with a dermatologist for late this afternoon, but I know he's going to tell me I need antibiotics and I don't do well with them. I'd appreciate your opinions.

I've been treating with:

- MMS orally and by soaking a washcloth and laying it on
- ozone funneled to the area
- Bromelain on the blisters
- allimed internally and on the wound
- over the counter and prescription antibiotic cream called mupirocin
- goldenseal orally
- olive leaf orally
- manuka honey on the wound

I think I screwed up because I was taking lipisomal vitamin C and glutathione packets at the end of the night each night, and based on my previous posts I see that lipisomal vitamins have a much longer half life. I didn't take it last night so it should be out of my system today, and I'm continuing with MMS.

Thanks - Angie

Your herbal helps are antioxidants right? If you take them to close to the MMS you are canceling out your MMS benefits.

Are they? I didn't realize. Man I can't believe I didn't know this. I guess I need to stop everything but the MMS.

Am I taking MMS correctly? I'm doing 3-6 drops an hour (I increased this morning) and am using it by soaking a washcloth and laying it on.

I'm editing this message to add this - I just looked up olive leaf- it's 400% stronger as an antioxidant than vitamin C! I'm so frustrated. I've been taking MMS every hour for the last week, and dealing with the stomach stuff, all the while stopping its effectiveness.

I would think it would still work on the skin on contact with the bacteria? What do you think?

I would think that it should work on the skin itself. 3-6 drops every hour should be fine I would think, as long as you are not nauseous. If this is not correct please someone correct me!

Thanks Horsefeathers. I saw the dermatologist and he seemed super concerned. He took a swab to see if its MRSA. I have the antibiotic in hand, but I'd much rather not if I don't need to. I'm giving myself 1 more day.

I stopped all my supplements after yesterday around 11 am, and started again today on the oral MMS. I also did the gas technique Jim describes for MRSA.

The wound appears to be drying up and looking better already. I'm hopeful. I'll post how it goes so anyone with the same issue can find it here.

Good morning - The wound is looking significantly better. It's scabbing over (it wasn't scabbing at all before), it's dried itself out, and the swelling is significantly down. MMS is just incredible!

I did two rounds of gassing the wound yesterday, and it started drying up and scabbing almost immediately after the first time. I sprayed the wound every hour with MMS spray, and did protocol 1000. I took 6 drops for the first two hours though.

There was a small amount of puss left this morning so I gassed it again this morning and it drained some more.

I believe this is going to work. Thank you for the help everyone. I'll post progress.

I just don't understand for the life of me why anyone would think it would be better to take 10 days of antibiotics that cause havoc in the body and have all kinds of very serious side effects, some of which could be permanent. There's even a warning of one side effect that can cause death. Personally I'm on the side of MMS.

It worked! I went to the dermatologist yesterday and he said it looked great, and that I was fine now. It was really a mess when I went last time and he was very concerned, so this is amazing.

I tried to tell them about MMS, but they seem totally uninterested. I guess they'd lose a ton of money if people kept MMS in their homes. I also tried to tell them that MMS cured my rosacea, but they were not particularly interested in that either, even though there's no cure for rosacea. They had originally given me a strong cortisone cream and antibiotic cream to use daily just to try and suppress the rosacea and it didn't work very well.

In case anyone is wondering how I did it, it's been a long time but I think when I had used MMS orally and in my sinuses for a cold I noticed the rosacea went down dramatically. I think I may have also started using it on the skin then, and it completely left.

Anyway, thanks again for all the help.

Thanks for the rosacea idea! And congrats on the MRSA (and I'm pretty sure it was MRSA) - had a young man here heal himself within a day or so (just like you) with MRSA just the fume protocol.
