I Was reading about The pH of the saliva and the Relationship with sickness. So i got some paper pH and follow The intruction. Take a sip of your saliva after two hour of eating and make thre times saliva and in The last one put IT in The paper. If you are healthy should be alkaline. I try an get pH of 8. Check your and give your condition .

MMS is slightly acidic, and it is fine. Jim does not believe in the whole pH/acidic/alkaline theory.

I just did it for fun. I believe I read MMS or SC is alkaline. But let me verify on that.

Sodium Chlorite (unactivated MMS) is alkaline, if it has not been mixed with an acidic activator - it runs up around 13 on a scale that goes to 14, as I understand it.

Pam - I have a question. My sister has recently started using MMS - she told me today that she is very acidic.
I told her I didn't think that the MMS would do that - She believes she should be very high in alkaline. I have no idea what she is eating. I do know that she is borderline diabetic. Any ideas??
thanks
Glenda

There is quite a kerfluffle over pH in the health food industry and Jim wrote a Newsletter on it some time ago.

Back in the 1930's (IIRC) there was a doctor who stated that cancer would not live in an alkaline environment. I think, at that point, that they were thinking of cancer as a single disease, rather than multiple diseases. (Andreas told me 64...) - so it's a little more complex than "you have to stay alkaline" -

If your sister is open to using some diet work, I find that the Rosedale Plan (High fat, very low carb, moderate protein) is excellent for balancing out blood sugars. It's a diet plan that works well with MMS -

Good luck... I think someone once wrote about a prophet in his own land <G>.
