Need some clarification on the use of juices with citric acid added. I understand not to use orange juice or products with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) as an ingredient. We use citric acid to activate MMS to make MMS1. Would there be any harm or disadvantage in adding the MMS1 to say grape juice that has citric acid as one of the ingredients? Also, would it be ok to add MMS1 to real (not the brand Real Lemon Juice) lemon juice drink?

Drink it neat or make CDS if you are affected by the complex acids at high dosage rates.

Jim Humble says you can mix mms1 with cranberry or apple juice, as they don't have vitamin c in them naturally, trouble is alot of these juices have added vitamin C to them, but it's on the lable, so mix only IF they do not have added vitamin C.

BTW, he mixes it into Pepsi.

I just started reading Jim Humble's first book.

He says you can use fresh juice that has citric acid in it, just no packaged juices with "added vitamin C'. The added vitamin C dilutes the mms potency 75%, it is added to packaged juices as a perservative.

I believe he now preaches no vitamin C to limit confusion.

It's funny because my husband used grapefruit juice to take his mms2 capsules for 7 months, finally I noticed he was doing that and I told him it reduced the potency.....but we both agreed that the capsules were working. So, now I know, as his grapefuit juice does not have added vitamin C, it says "drink in 7 days", because there is no perservative in it.

Boy will he be happy!

The process of adding MMS to a solution outside is completely different than the process of using gelcaps. The stomach accommodate HCL required for digest your juices so when the pill open in the stomach the HCL already start the process of break down. CaCl0 take time to brake down, he is ok drinking grapefruit with it.

Also, please be aware that between the 1st book and the 2nd book more testing has been done and protocols and such have been adjusted accordingly - what you find in the 1st book may not reflect current thinking (it may, but it may not).

Several pages later Jim says not to use orange juice to mix with the mms, orange juice prevent the production of chlorine dioxide. But, many many times he says he always used juices for the drink, mostly pineapple juice, NO ADDED VITAMIN C, and he got perfect results 100% of the time, he's up to 7,000 times at this point. He recommends pineapple, apple, grape and cranberry.

The book I am reading has been updated 4 times. Does everyone know that Jim worked as a research engineer for the aerospace industry for 25 years? That's how he understood all this.

I feel the reason he now says to only use distilled water is because store bought juice may have minerals in it. Fresh sqeezed juices have no minerals. Minerals bind to the chlorite and render it useless.

So, fresh squeezed juice is okay, but not orange juice, and definately no added vitamin C.
