Dear All

I have a small field that I use to grow stuff in a sustainable way with no pesticides or herbicides. I recently tested my water that is supplied to me by bowser and it turns out that it is not very good quality. Will MMS/CDS/CDH help clear up any heavy metals, or other chemicals in the water? And if so how much would you recommend?

Don't know if this means anything to you, but the Electrical conductivity is 1976 uS/cm, Chloride is 456mg/l and TDS is 1265mg/l

I know MMS is NaClO2 and I think I remember Jim saying that the oxygen oxidizes the bad stuff and we're left with a tiny amount of NaCl (Sodium Chloride). Is there any way to reduce the NaCl?

There commercial method in the market to remove salt from water but in your case I don't think is necessary. The level of Salt produced by Activated MMS will be very dilute and no going to affect the osmosis of your water in bad way.

I use MMS activated with my orchids. I put One milliliter of SC with 1 ml of CA and activate for 1 min add to my 5 gallon fertilizer container that circulate using a water pump of 500 gallon per min. The pot of my Orchids have a gap of 1 inch of water in the bottom and normally have bacteria and fungus grow that I want to reduce when get in contact with the good fertilizer.
