I am in Australia and have tried MMS Australia but it is not listed. Thanks for any help. geocant

The strips at Graingers are 500 ppm (#4EVX3) I will have another look at their site and do a search. Thanks again for your help, George.

George, the 500ppm strips are the highest made.

Take 1ml of your CDS and put in 59ml of distilled water for a total of 60ml. That is a 1:60 dilution. Dip one LaMotte strip in the diluted solution for 2 full seconds, take out and wait 10 seconds. If your CDS is 3000ppm the strip color will match the 50ppm color on the LaMotte plastic case. 50ppm x 60 = 3000ppm

You can cut the strips lengthwise so you end up with 100 strips instead of 50.

You will find that the colors may be approximate - and worry a bit about an exact match - I wouldn't worry close is close enough. I also don't worry about the difference between 59mL in my water or 60mL in my water - it's easy to find measures that measure 30mL or 60mL here in the states, but you have to purchase lab equipment to measure 59mL - so I just use 60. As Jim has said, this is not rocket science. <G>

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
