Regarding our 11 Week old English Bulldog puppy:

After researching the pros & cons of vaccines for puppies, we have decided to find a practitioner who can help us use homeopathic remedies (nosodes) until (if/when) we decide to implement a reduced vaccine plan.

Does anyone know if CDS/MMS is compatible with homeopathic remedies?

We have many health decisions to make, but we want to get this pup on the equivalent of protocol 1000 and then keep him on a life-long maintenance dose that takes into consideration his growth rate into adulthood.

Does anyone know what the protocol 1000 and then the maintenance dosing would be for this pup? Or maybe someone has experience with a protocol specific to puppies??

Anyone with experience here, please advise.
Thanks!

Yes, CDS/MMS will not interfere with homeopathic remedies.

Jim has a full chapter on dosing and working with pets in his latest book, joyce. it's a bit too long to quote here. It will depend on weight of animal and type of animal.

Thanks for the reply, Pam.
I should have mentioned that I have read and re-read Jim's chapter on healing animals in his latest book. What I failed to make clear is that I am hoping for information from people who have used or are using MMS and especially CDS since the book does not give info on using CDS. Neither does it mention specifically anything about homeopathics.

I have also read RevRob's post about the protocol he developed for puppies with "Cat Flu" or parvo. Maybe he's using CDS now and could offer his first-hand experience here.

I hope to hear from anyone with experience using CDS MMS1 or MMS2 for dosing puppies/dogs as a preventative and alternative to vaccinating, etc.

Pam, another thing, I know little about homeopathics. What reliable resources can you refer me to that understand and explain the relationship between using MMS/CDS and homeopathy. Are you a homeopathic practitioner? Thanks for your input here.

No, I'm not a homeopath practitioner - I know only what I have read, or discussed with other homeopathic practitioners - also, my cat was sick when I first moved up here with a respiratory problem and the vet wa a homeopathic vet - the cat didn't get better - unfortunately the regular vet wasn't much help, either - only when I started sharing my MMS did he improve.

Jim Humble is not a big fan of homeopathy - but that is neither here nor there - I understand enough of MMS/CDS (how they work with pathogens, heavy metals, etc.) to know that they would not interfere with something that is so miniscule in terms of dose size. MMS doesn't interfere with plants, as an example. It doesn't interfere with tissues. It does have interactions with antioxidants - but homeopathic medicines are not antioxidants.

This may help

For maintenance I use MMS2

Puppies grow quickly the first 8 months, so start on 1 drop and over a few weeks work up to 3 drops.

Unless the animal is very sick this will be sufficient.

CDS is best as they sometimes dont like the taste MMS1.

Also keep a spray handy and spray into the mouth as well.

Joyce1 I have had lot of experience dosing animals. For your puppy I would use 1/2 drop per hour till he is heavier.

you mentioned using MMS2 - It comes in cap's not drops, doesn't it? What size cap's would you get to give? ( I have 2 dogs, one is 15 -16 lbs and the other is 24 lbs) The suppliers I have seen have size 0 - size 4 and size 2.
Thank you - Glenda

He uses it for maintenance, blessed, - which would be a 1x a day dosing. From his posting it appears that he uses regular MMS for the illness dosing.
