If a man shall sin against the LORD, who shall plead for him?

If any man sinneth, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.--Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he may be just, and the justifier of him who believeth in Jesus.

He is gracious to him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?... Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, or rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

1 SAM 2:25. 1 Jn 2:1,2.--Ro 3:25,26. Job 33:24. Ro 8:31,33,34.
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
