The righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and upon all them that believe.

He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.--Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.--Who from God is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.--Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

I count all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.
